Waker Forrest

A forest not far from the great city Maneara . Many that venture into it get lost if they know nothing of it. But, keep going straight and eventually you will make it from them. They are not dark in spirits like Sorrel's Dusk Forest, but still not the safest of places.

The forest, that would be the safest bet on foot. So, that's what Braylin headed for. He kept his speed up and didn't look over his shoulder for no reason. It wasn't until the shadows of leaves fell onto his skin that Braylin slowed. He finally looked to the city and saw a few number of horses on path for the forest where he had entered. Braylin turned on his heels again and went deeper into the woods, knowing it would be difficult for the horses to follow. It would be a foot race. But, Braylin had a head start. He didn't waste a second to think directional strategies. Following his gut had always been the best thing for him. Naturally it got him in trouble at times...like this, but he always got out of said trouble. Each and every time, like he was being helped out by a force unseen to eyes. Or maybe he just had a natural instinct that rarely let him stray? It was somewhat a mixture in reality, though he wouldn't become aware of just what that reality was for quite sometime.
