Synopsis: Lewis Rholf, Maine writer of experimental fiction, went to NYC in September 2001 and was lost during 9/11. His widow Maxine did not take the Victim Compensation monies because she wanted Lewis back instead. Five years later, she is finally starting to wear his clothes. She researches wild orchids in remote forests of Maine, while struggling with equipment failures, financial crises, kids and pets in trouble, the souring of her friendship with wealthy admirer Byron. A trio of quarrelsome motorcyclists have tampered with her rare plants, and she begins to realize the peril of being alone in the North Woods. One day daughter Eva reports that she saw Lewis at the Bangor Airport. Could Lewis be alive?
