((so sry I haven't been active, I've been really busy with end of school (we get out early cause it's private) so I haven't had much time and I just recovered from being sick so... I'm glad you're keeping up the roleplay and I'll try to be more active))"Um... guys... not a good time." Matthew looked back and forth between the rivals nervously.
Matthew looked at Avalon like she was insane. "That was a little harsh. Then again, you are Avalon Deces..."
Jasper stared at the girls like they were a pack of tigers. "Are they always like this?" He looked at Matthew strangely.Matthew stared at the dying grass, not looking at Jasper. "Well, they're not always this angry, but they certainly keep things dramatic." He shrugged, turning toward Zoe, who was aghast and dumbfounded at the whole situation. "You OK over there?"
"No, I'm quite concerned for our fellow questers. Are you blind?" She snapped.
"No, I can see quite well thank you." Matthew smiled.
Zoe huffed. 21st century. So careless.
"Yes, I have been training for this. Of course, I have not yet seen the code or what it may be like. And, I was not really prepared for an emotional drama. I have my own depressing past but... I'm not one who likes to share these things. Show me to the castle gate and cease this babble about hope." She commanded, used to the Hunters obeying her every word. Her silver uniform shimmered as the hints of sun began to appear. All Matthew wanted to do was comfort Avalon. To build a house of grain and hold her tight and not let her go. But it was too early. He couldn't just jump in like that. It wasn't the right moment. Besides, they had to focus on the quest.
Zoe stared blankly at Leah. "I'm not? But I am not vital to this quest? I could leave you all here now and go on my own route," Zoe huffed.
"Fine, but I never said I wanted to be here. I am doing you a favor so you better appreciate it." She stomped off and headed toward the street, eyes fixed on the castle.
((happy june :D btw sry i wasn't on for T, W, Th, I was in the outer banks (north carolina) and today I have my dance dress rehearsal soooo I won't be on much today either))

History: She grew up with her mother, a florist, who was never married but always dating other people, and, well, she ended up with twelve brothers and sisters. Her disability made her lonely among so many people in a small house, so she liked reading and writing. Then, when her mother suddenly left, saying she had to visit her "fields", the thirteen children were left on their own. Later, a strange man with goat legs found their house and took all the children to a camp known as "Camp Halfblood" and were told that their real mother was a Greek god and they should be claimed soon. They were never claimed. Shortly after, one killed himself, three died on quests, and four died of various rare diseases. Four siblings teamed up and left violet on her own, so she fled camp, trying to make a living for herself on the other side of the country. She encountered the nine muses, asking them for help. She went on a quest to rescue Cleio, the muse of history, who was trapped in the future, and is currently ten years in the future searching for the lost muse.

Viktor sighed. "I was just trying to help... besides, they're not getting anywhere after meeting my new servant..." He grinned.
"What? You hired your own servant? WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!--"
"Relax! She'll do better than you think. She'll play your former role..."
Castle Gate"So these are the forbidden doors." Zoe stared at the code. "Gimme a second."
"Because no one is allowed to enter them accept the queen and very high ranked, invited people. Now be quiet I'm trying to focus!"
"Do you want to be trapped in the future? Cause it sure sounds like it."
"Well what am I supposed to say?" Matthew glared at Avalon. "And Tari, isn't it obvious why you shouldn't be mean? Seriously people. Why is everything so complicated? We could've already been done if you would just--""BE QUIET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Zoe yelled. She closed her eyes and concentrated, staring at the red gate shaped like a tear drop. "Find the one who poisons food at sunset on forbidden ground. The boy of evil, venom, blood; the one who tricks without a sound." Her eyes glowed silver, then faded.
Matthew looked back at Avalon feeling bad. He hated it when someone had to apologize to him... he always felt like he was the guilty one. He studied Zoe's words, puzzled. "Forbidden ground?""Thats what it said." Zoe started looking towards the next gate, shaped like a Heart. She closed her eyes again, focusing on the memorized symbols. "The one forgotten, lonely, depressed, who flies on wings of pure sadness. He is no longer what he was. He has no longer his first cause. His mother's birthplace is where he lies, to plot revenge: his brother's demise."
"Well, wanna start translating?" Celie asked excitedly. "What was the first one again?" She asked Zoe."Yeah, cause I'm just a human "computer", as you moderns call them." She blared in sarcasm.
"Really? Cool!!"

"I'll go with Avalon!" Matthew said a little loudly. "We should pair up in twos, since there are five gates." Jasper inquired.
"Ok, when do we start?" Matthew looked at Zoe.
"Um, since when do I know these things?"

"Can we get on with the doors?" Zoe said, obviously annoyed. She looked at the third, purple gate, surprisingly normally shaped. "Her servant stands among us now. The mother of magic will tell you how. Find her resting place, and for each lovely face, a riddle she will ask, thus to complete your task."

A figure stepped out of the shadows, nodding her head. Her wavy purple hair shined in the light of dawn. She stared at Avalon with rose colored eyes and a sad smile.

((actually, yesterday i changed my name, and before that i changed my name on may 1st :P um so we're in front of the gates, Zoe Nightshade who came back from the dead is translating the code on the doors to tell us what we need to do to get the five keys, and avalon just saw Violet, the visiting character who doesn't realize she is working for sophia, who can't talk))

Zoe moved over to the fourth blue gate also shaped like a teardrop. The code burned brightly, and was almost unreadable. She concentrated and closed her eyes. ((have I used that line for like, every gate now lol)) "Pouring from the clouds so high, she is the empress of the sky. Egyptian blood runs through her vein. Kill her and the key you'll gain."
