It's interesting how Joanne Horniman follows up some of her books with accounts of the "other" characters.
For instance, her book Little Wing was in Emmy's perspective; who was the "other character" in Mahalia.

I am yet to find this book around where I live but I am already in anticipation of Sophie's account of things, though my heart will always go out to Kate first and foremost.
