hmmm thank you.... I love fried chicken./..
I know several books we were required to read in school that I re-read as an adult again but... still didn't like them any better the second time usually.. there were a few I did later enjoy

Hi Sean. How are you? You share a name with my son!:)

I'm doing great, Sean. I'm very interested in criminology. It fascinates me. Sociology was also a favorite subject of mine both in high school and in university.

I want to read The Virgin Suicides!

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

Absolutely a great pick! I recall having many books on my high school/University curriculum, many of which I ended up liking.

What else are you taking in University?

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

I see. Very different from the US. Profiling is amazing to me. I watch Criminal Minds, read true story books about Profilers and how they do what they do. It's fascinating!

Mental Health is also a fascinating subject, one I've studied and lived for many years.

Pretty awesome line up you've got there, Sean. I'm impressed!

Here's a book that took four years of research in the Behavioral Sciences Unit of the FBI to write:

The 7th Victim (Karen Vail, #1) by Alan Jacobson The 7th Victim

It's mind blowing!

Very insightful into what Profiling really entails. Written by a Profiler.

Julia (juliace) Hi Sean - I have The Dragon Keeper on my TR shelf. Pls let me know how you like it.

PS - I see that you like Criminal Minds. A new show is starting on May 23rd (?) called MOTIVE. Thought you might be interested.

The Night CIrcus is a great 'visual' read... the descriptions really came alive for me, and the atmosphere of the circus took on more importance for me than the characters. I hope Tim Burton reads it and directs the movie. It has him written all over it.
