Enna ran out of her dorm, carrying a bunch of her books and such. She ran down to the campus caffiterea, late for band practice.
Charlie rounded the corner, and smacked into another body. They both fell to the ground, and her books spilled everywhere. "Oh god! I'm so sorry." He said reaching a hand out to help her up.
Enna let in a sharp intake of breath, surprised. "Oh! No, it's fine." She smiled at him.
He smiled. "Let me help you with these." He said and bended down to pick up her books.
"Thanks." Enna knelt too and scooped up her stuff.
Charlie picked them up and handed them to her. "Here."
"Thanks." She smiled. "I'm Enna."
"You too." Charlie said smiling brightly.
She looked at her watch. Too late for band practice. "Do you want to go get some coffee?" She asked him with a smile.
Charlie smiled warmly. "Sure. I have to be at my book club, but that's not for an hour."
"Okay." She nodded and led him outside to the coffee kiosk.
Charlie smiled at sat down. He ordered an Espresso with two shots.
Enna ordered a caramel frappicino, leading him to the stools to sit on.
Charlie sat next to her. "So what are you studying for?" He asked.
"Nothing?" She looked at him oddly.
"I mean what do you want to major in?" He asked.
"Oh. I major in English in Mythology." She replied with a slight laugh.
"I suppose." She shrugged, tossing her long, thick black hair over her shoulder. "You?"
"Drama." Charlie replies. Taking a sip of his coffee.
"Oh, what fun!" She smiled broadly.
"Yeah. The people are really nice. As are the professors." Charlie says smiling.
"My friend's a drama major." Enna rambled randomly.
Charlie smiled. "Cool. What's his name? Or a her I guess." He added thinking about it.
"Jack." She answered absently. "So, tell me about yourself."
Charlie smiled again. "Well, I'm Charlie, I'm majoring in Drama... I'm an artist, I like Shakespeare."
She grinned, like it pleased her. "I'm Enna, I'm majoring in English, I'm a writer, I like Harry Potter."
Charlie smiled again. "Nice. I like Harry Potter too, but haven't read past the first book."
Enna raised an eyebrow but said nothing, just smiled at him.
He laughed, and checked his watch. "Well I'd better be going. It was nice meeting you Enna." He said and stood up.
"Oh. Okay." Enna frowned, but pulled out her mini journal and tore out a corner of a page, jotting down her number. "Give me a call, eh?"
He smiled. "I might just do that." Charlie shook her hand and took the note. He tucked it in his pocket.
Enna gave him a quick hug and walked brusquely away.
Charlie blushed and went to his book club.
As Charlie planned his party later that week, he decided that he would give Enna a call. He pulled out her number and dialed.
Enna, leaning over her computer at the library, writing with her headphones on, pulled her headphones so they rested on her neck an pulled out her cell, sliding the call button. "Hello?" She answered, tired from cramming all night.
"Hi Enna. This is Charlie." He says lounging on his bed, doing homework.
"Oh!" Enna couldn't help but grin. She'd noticed he was cute last time. "Hi Charlie. What's up?"
"Hi. I'm having a party at my place tonight with some other people from Drama. If you want to come, you can invite some of your friends if you want."
