Ewa started sobbing and lunged forward to hug him, overwhelmed.

Ewa caught herself before she fell and stared defiantly into his eyes, trying to control the tears. She was breathing hard. "I'm...I was..." She couldn't bring herself to say it.
"No! I...I mean." She sat down on the floor, burying her face in her hands.
"Yes I did." She whispered, wanting to take the knife now and kill herself. She gestured to the knife. "Do it."
I always thought I was...But what am I now? Ewa thought, trying to stop weeping. "Because I deserve it."

Ewa stared at him. "I shouldn't even be aloud to look at you. If you don't kill me. I'll kill myself." She tore her chin away and got to her feet, crossing the expanse from him to the silver dagger. "I tried to kill you. I've killed so many others. I don't deserve this life any more." She stared out over the kingdom, the stars twinkling softly, the moon lighting her last moments. She wondered if he'd try to stop her. She wouldn't try to stop herself. She was evil and horrible. She raised the blade over her breast, closing her radiant blue eyes.

Ewa turned her head. "I tried to kill you." She said as a matter-of-factly. "I deserve to die." She looked down the balcony. I could just jump. She thought. "Why are you doing this?"
She didn't let him finish. She kissed him again. She knew that if she did jump she wanted that feeling again.

Ewa ran her fingers through his hair and pulled back, resting a forehead on his shoulder, her tears staining his suit. "Why...Why would I do a thing like that?" She sobbed.
Ewa's fingers linked at the small of his back, holding him close. She'd never been hugged or hugged anyone sincerely before.
Ewa's heart was racing. "What?" She whispered into his shoulder, not lifting her head, tracing her fingers around his back.
Ewa winced. "I can't go back inside. I have to do. Can you come, Drystan?"
"Back to my place? I need some company or..." Or I think I might lose myself. She thought.
Ewa backed away and looked into his eyes, kissing him softly again before backing away.
Ewa, trying to keep herself together walked across the palace to the large inn she was staying at.
Ewa let herself in and sighed. "This is my place." She told him quietly.
"I guess." She shrugged. She knew he stayed at the castle, so this must look odd to him.
Ewa's eyes widened and she watched the guards from behind the doorway.
"We're looking for one Ewa-Marie Requidist." The guard said stiffly.
He gasped. "Oh, sir prince Drystan!" The man bowed. "That woman tried to assassinate you."

Ewa watched him slowly. "I can't go...."

Ewa gulped. "I don't want you to get in trouble, Drystan!"
Ewa walked slowly after him, feeling chlosterphobic.
She nodded slowly, catching up with him, still in her huge ball gown.
She laughed lightly. "Kind of." She admitted. She took her extra knife from her calf and quickly cut the dress so it was shorter.

Ewa's eyes widened. "H-How did you know about this?" She asked him, climbing into the boat.
