Anyone want to read Love Finds You in Amana, Iowa by Melanie Dobson. I know its not Amish, but it is Christian Fiction about a religious group. We are already reading a book beginning of July so it would have to be end of July?
Kaylin~ I do not have that book, I have never read any of Dan Wells books even though I have heard good things about them and have several I got for free on my Kindle.

I'd love to read that one, Lorie, but I can't definitely commit to a buddy read in late July, in case our baby comes along a little early ;) but if someone else wants to read this one, I'll try to join in if I can!
@Lorie, here's a great place to grab LOTS of free books, most of which is young adult themed, including the Partials series by Dan Wells. It is:http://ebookshavenfb.blogspot.com/
You will need to join her facebook group to get access to all her books. She approves people really quickly.
Here's the list of books she has available to download:

After you have been accepted into the group, you just click on the title in blue from the website above to download it to your computer. You will also have to convert the ePub file to Mobi to be able to send it to your kindle. Here is the link for the free software that I use called Calibre:
http://calibre-ebook.com/download
It doesn't take too long to convert the books and you can do a whole bunch at a time. Once they are done, email the .mobi file to your kindle's email address and it will show up just like Net Galley books do. I promise it is super simple!!! I have downloaded over 25+ series of YA books that I have been eyeing and have saved LOTS of money, especially in case I don't like them. Have fun!

Anyone up for reading Thrown to the Wolves by Holly Newcastle in early August? It was free a while ago, so a lot of us probably got it....
Brittany are we still going to read Thrown to the Wolves? I did not see it on your August list? Are we starting early August?
I had actually totally forgotten about this group read! Sorry guys - I've worked all week so my brain's kind of fried. But I'm still up for it! When would you guys like to start?
I'm off for most of this coming week, so I can start whenever. :)

@Natalie. I have the book The Photograph. when do we start and where do I find the discussion? I'm new to this
@Tracy: Carolyn and I were talking about starting on the 20th of next month and finishing on the 20th of August, The discussion would be posted on the Buddy Reads section in Fans of Amish Fiction. However, I am having trouble w with password I use to access my personal e-mail. This means one of the moderators will have to post the thread.
my copy should arrive in the mail after the weekend. so, Tracy, you have some time to figure it out yet; though it's a holiday weekend here; so moderators may be busy too.
@Diamond: I noticed that you are also participating in a different Buddy read r during the time we are reading
. Do you want to change our start and finish date or will you be fine with reading two at once?
@Diamond: I do, too. I am just quite busy with school at this moment. I thought you said that December 27 to January 27th was good?
@Barbara Ann: Diamond and I are still going to start our Buddy read of
today. Will you please post the discussion thread when you get the chance? Thanks in advance!
Is anyone up for doing a Buddy Read of
sometime around February 21st- March 21st of 2018?Also, does anyone who missed our Group Read discussion for
by Beth Wiseman sometime around April 29th to May 29th of 2018?
I am trying my best to schedule fewer Buddy Reads in the future. I also would not be opposed to doing a Buddy Read of
sometime around July 20-August 20 of next year if it has not been nominated, chosen, and discussed as an Amish Group Read by that time.
I know it is kind of far in advance, but I have already over-committed to Buddy Reads for the rest of this year.

I would like to do An Amish Market. in Feb. I already read Her brother's keeper so I can be apart of the discussion.
@Diamond: Thanks. I understand about you not wanting to read
again this soon. Can you please be a little more flexible about the original dates of our Buddy Read of
? Although I am probably going to only be taking one class a semester from now on, I don't know how much work will be due each week in that class. This is especially important since each teacher structures their syllabi differently depending upon how much needs to be covered during the semester.
