Since nobody seems interested in reading Rosemary Opens her Heart this month, I will try to nominate it for the September group read or buddy read.

@Natalie - That was one I was interesting in reading, but I haven't read the first one. I'll try to read it soon and then maybe we can Buddy up and read it together? =)
I'm talking about Buddy Reading Rosemary Opens her Heart after I've read the first one. If you're up for it, that is...
@Rachel: How long do buddy reads usually take since I've never been able to do one? Just curious so I can know when it';s better to nominate a new book or renominate this one. Can you even renominate a book if it hasn't be read yet? Just wanted to clarify these details.
@Rachel: Never mind about the length of the buddy reads. I saw something above that said they should take about two weeks apiece.
I have Fire in the Night by Linda Byler on my TBR and a sample on my Kindle. Does someone want to read that after the first two Pleasant Valley books? I am also up for a buddy read of A Wedding Quilt for Ella by Jerry S Eicher if it's not too soon after reading Katie Opens her Heart by him.
I am also interested in reading A Quilt for Jenna by Patrick E. Craig. I've read A Wedding Quilt for Ella. I'd like to read Rosemary Opens her heart, but my library does not have it and it is a little expensive for Kindle right now.
I am going to start Abby finds her Calling so that I can then read Rosemary Opens her Heart - both my Naomi King.
I went to the library today and found Rosemary Opens Her Heart by Naomi King so when everyone gets ready to read let me know, I will read it with you all.
@Brittany: Not sure when I can get A Wedding Quilt for Ella. I will try to check our local library after my camp. Are you willing to wiat until the middle of next month to start it if need be?
@Brittany: Finishing The Amish Seamstress sometime tomorrow morning. Do you still plan to start it tomorrow? Any day this week except maybe Wednesday afternoon between 1:30-6:30 should work.
Does any want to read A Little Bit of Charm by Mary Ellis since we've done buddy reads for the first two? It just became available on Kindle today.

Actually, there was a delay at my library and I won't be able to get it until maybe Friday. Would loser toward the end of the week work for you?

Also, is anyone up for doing the same thing with The Guardian by Beverly Lewis once we finish the series read and The Bridesmaid? If so, I was thinking we could a do buddy ready of the fourth book after we finish the next two. I also understand if everyone needs a little break between her books, but i was thinking we should try to finish the whole series before The Last Bride is released next April.
Who's interested in doing this for A Heart Made New, Love's Journey Home, and Love Still Stands by Kelly Irvin or the next two Little Valley books, Ella's Wish and Ella Finds Love Again by Jerry S Eicher? Just curious because the first three are on my list of what I'm hoping to read this month.
It's not exactly Amish, but does anyone feel inclined to read Anna Schmidt newest book, All God's Children, which is the first in her Peacemakers Quaker series, at some point? I'm thinking we should make sure that it's at least in audio or paperback before we schedule this.
I would read Ella's Wish, Ella Finds Love Again, I have not read the first book, To Love and to Cherish of the Bliss Creek Amish Series but I would like to read that series too.
@Lorie: Thanks. I always love finishing a series. I read Ella's Wish on my Kindle when it was $3.82, but now it's about nine dollars. I can probably remember it enough to do a discussion. When do you think you can read the above three books? I still need to figure out when I'm getting the latter two Kelly Irvin books.
@Brittany: Do you know if you can still get the book from your library tomorrow? I am planning to renw my copy either way.
I have a ton of Christmas Books I want to read and partnering with a buddy would really help me! How about one of these anyone want to read with me? I know some are not Amish, but there is no reason why we can't buddy read a Christian Fiction book.
1. The Christmas Quilt by Vannetta Chapman
2. A Pioneer Christmas Collection: 9 Stories of Finding Shelter and Love in a Wintry Frontier
3. Plantation Christmas Weddings: Four-in-One Romance Collection
4. Bright Christmas: An Amish Love Story by Susan Rohrer
5. Mistletoe Memories: Four-in-One Romance Collection

I'll join you in reading Bright Christmas, but I probably won't be able to start until December. Grad school and all....
@Lorie: I am having A Pioneer Christmas Collection as a group read in Clean Fiction if you want to join the group sometime this month. Mistletoe Memories is also a Group Read for last month in my group, but I've not started since I just bought it a couple days ago. The others sound good, too.
Has anyone read Katie's Journey to Love by Jerry S Eicher? If so, who';'s up for doing a buddy read of Katie's Forever Promise? I am thinking this will wait until it's a bit cheaper on Kindle or available at my library, I would also like to a buddy read of A Blue and Gray Christmas by Vickie McDonough, The Christmas Quilt by Vannetta Chapman, Annie's Christmas Wish by Barbara Cameron, Love Finds you in the City on Christmas by Ruth Logan Herne and Anna Schmidt or The Secret Keeper by Beverly Lewis?
@ Natalie I have A Blue and Gray Christmas, my husband bought it for me for Christmas last year, if I can find it I'll read it with you. I'm also interested in The Christmas Quilt.
When would you all be interested in doing a buddy read for The Christmas Quilt by Vannetta Chapman?
Let's start Bright Christmas on Dec 2 unless it gets picked for Amish group read?

@Lorie: Not sure when I can get my copy of Vannetta Chapman's new book. I think I got Bright Christmas when it was free on Kindle.
Hi, guys! I've been wanting to read these books for a while. If anyone would like to Buddy Read any, let me know!

@ Brittany: I just finished Plain Peace, Have not read any in the Cindy Woodsmall series, would love to read The Bargain (I actually have that one), and I do not have Anna's Return.
I think The Bargain was a Kindle freebie for one day awhile back? I could be wrong though.

I bought Plain Peace as a preorder and got a great deal on it. Its the last in the series. Loved It!
Regarding Plain Fame, I don't know maybe. I think she has some friends on the board here. Rosebud maybe? Maybe they could answer that question better.

Sure, when would you like to start? Plain Fame seems pretty short, so I should be able to read it in a couple of days...
I'm finishing a book right now so maybe Plain Fame next weds. and The Bargain at end of month sometime? Yes Plain Fame looks like a pretty quick book.
