Do you have a favourite library? It could be real, fictional or imaginary.

Describe it to us!

Christine | 3 comments My favourite library is the Cornish Library in Winnipeg, MB. It was my local library where I grew up it has old wood shelves, tiled floor and enormous windows. It is situated on the bank of the Assisinboine River surrounded by a large green lawn or snow in winter. Not sure if it has been modernized or changed since I've last been.

Mine is the New Brighton branch of the Christchurch Public Library in New Zealand. It's right on the beach with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean.

The building itself is beautiful as well.

Alan | 5 comments Eleanor London Public Library in Montreal. I grew up
in the old location (which was deliberately placed in a shopping centre to attract families)and now that my parents live near the newer location I always visit when I am in town. They are open 365 days a year and have an enormous collection of books and periodicals. I will always have wonderful memories of this place from my childhood.
