Tanecia (books101) | 5 comments Does anyone know how I can get a slide show like this http://livingforthebooks.blogspot.com... where I can link my reviews too?

I would be so grateful if you can answer this question!

It's called a lightbox slideshow and it's used for photos but you can link to the posts relating to the photos (you have to do this manually I believe) but I'm not sure as in settings there is something which mentions this lightbox- I've googled it but don't seem to understand it. Here's where it can be found under settings- click the ? and you'll see that it is what you've seen:

Perhaps you'll have to fiddle around in your Blogger template? If you're adding it manually to a blog, like not Blogger I believe there is HTML (google again ;))
Try it out & let me know what happens & if google helped you (it seems to have confused me).

Vera Godley (verag) | 14 comments This is so neat. Now to figure out how to make this really work for me. If you don't understand, the way I figured it out from the message 2 Amy Bookworm lift above is to (in Blogger) click on settings and then post and comments. Then under "Posts" you see "Showcase images with Lightbox" - click the yes next to it. If you want to know a bit more about the lightbox feature, click the "?" that is under the phrase and is a link. It opens a small info box that has a more info link in it.

Basically what happens is when you have a blog post with pictures (especially more than 1) and folks want to view it as a slideshow, they can click an image. Then a black screen pops up with the clicked image in it. At the bottom of THAT black screen are thumbnails of all the images in that post. You can arrow back and forward to view the images.

Now how about some nifty uses for this folks. Instead of loading all the pictures into a post, is there a way to load them into a linked file or as multiple thumbnails and you click the first thumbnail to begin the slideshow? Some feedback, please.
