I read a sample of the book about 2 years ago I think on amazon kindle. The book started off with the hero and heroine in a elevator I think and she kiss him and asks him out. He turns her down not becasue I doesn't want to but because tonight is the night he kills his next target. For some reason the girl followes the guy to his house and peeks threw the windows where she she him stab the guy. He see her and handcuffs her to a water heater I am not 100% sure about being handcuff to the water heater. I think he tells her why he does it for some reason I believe it's men that beats and cheats on their wife's and the hero and heroine falls in love
