I believe that the purchase of Goodreads by Amazon is a great opportunity for the company, book lovers, and books in general. There are many people who have concerns and reservations about the deal. I read a clearly biased blog post in the Wall Street Journal that raised the issue of Goodreads recommendations not appearing in the iBookStore as a result of the deal.
