"I really wish we can have class outside."
"That would be pretty awesome." Emily agreed
"It would. I'd appreciate it a lot."
"When does class start?" Emily asked, looking at the clock.
Darren checked his watch. "Eh..."
"Shouldn't there be a teacher here?" Emily was starting to get annoyed.
"Who cares? It's more time to relax. Take an breather, you know?"
Emily shrugged. "I guess you're right." She put a few more details on her sketch.
"What are you drawing."
Emily showed Darren the picture of him on the beach.
Darren smiled and reached out to the sketch. But he felt a stab of sadness and recoiled. "It's a great picture."
"Thanks." Emily said, smiling. "Do you want it?"
"No... you keep it."
Emily shrugged. "Ok." She pulled a folder out of her binder with penguins on it. She opened it. It was full of sketches. She added the sketch to her collection.
"I really want to go home now."

((Ya!!))"I know right. We've been here way to long." It was the last period of the day and Emily couldn't wait to leave.
"You know what... I'm just gonna skip. I need to go..."
"Mind if I come with you?" Emily whispered.
Darren sighed. "Sure. I don't mind."
Emily grinned. "We better get going before the teacher gets here."
"Yeah. I don't want to be caught." Darren left. He went to front of the building with his surf board and changed into a swim suit.
Emily grabbed her stuff and followed. "I'm going home."
"Kay. I'm gonna hit the beach."
"I'll meet you there I just need to get my swimsuit."
"See ya there" Darren started to walk off.
"Exactly. Few would. So, they use video games as a backup plan. An alternative."
