Stargazer I read this book on monday and katy evans real last week loved both...I need some thing good to read, have read all kristen ashley but am a little disapointed in her last two books, have 200 on my e reader as im a speedy reader any toughts onthese authours or recommendations?

Laurel I loved this book as well, and have also looked for something similar. I am currently reading About Last Night by Ruthie Knox, mainly because I saw that the author of After Hours liked it. It is good, but not quite as good as After Hours. I would also be interested in any other suggestions.

Stargazer maybe I try it to haven't found anything good since

Ariel Baird I read it this week, and I liked it. What did you like about it, and I can give you some suggestions maybe....

Laurel I'm not the original poster, but I am looking for recommendations as well. Usually I read historical or paranormal books, so I liked that this was different, but also not silly like a lot of contemporary books I have read. The characters, and what they did and why, seemed real. I also have not read a lot of erotica, but I'm not looking for "50 Shades of Gray" things - something a little more real.

Ariel Baird A good mix if you are okay with YA- 17 to 18 year old YA- is Addison Moore. Her Celestra series is really good and just about complete with 9 books.

As far as 'real' adult contemporary with a bit of romance: I really liked On The Island by Graves, Harper and Callum, Fighting for Flight. I know this next title sounds (and looks) really erotic, but give it a chance because the witty dialogue and characters are worth it: Wallbanger by Alice Clayton (really anything by her is funny).
Find you in the dark was pretty good, mature YA but it deals with mental issues like After Hours. Oh and Edge Of Never & Playing for Patience were some of my favorites this year too.

Stargazer i just read playing for patience enjoyed it too and have started ruthie knox ...will let you know how i get on.

J I read "After Hours" a few days ago and really enjoyed it. Other books I have read recently and would really recommend are: Finding Home (Lauren Baker & Bonnie Dee), Liberating Lacey and Emancipating Andie. A very dark read is "The Tied Man", but it's a great, well written book. Definitely needs a mature reader, however.

Ariel Baird Finding Home was great, I was glad I found that one... The others you mentioned are now on my list...Thanks!

Judy, thanks for the tip on The Tied Man. Just finished it. What an amazing book.

J Brenda:

So glad you liked "The Tied Man." I think Finn and Lilith are now burned into my soul. I assume you know that Tabitha McGowan is writing "The Tied Man Unbound" right now (TTM2). It will deal with recovery, healing and some revenge. Can't wait.

Ariel: You might also like "New Life" written by Bonnie Dee (coauthor of Finding Home). A little different subject matter (a man with a brain injury from a car accident who can't emotionally really deal with the outside world much so he works as a janitor at nights.) Everyone thinks he is stupid, but he's far from it. It takes a lawyer working in the building he cleans to bring him out. I really enjoyed it.

Also, if you haven't read them already, there are a few more "steamy" short reads that some of you might like. Willing Victim (Cara McKenna), Blown (Braxton Cole and Thank you For Riding (Meg Maguire). They are novellas, easy reads, definitely include some steam but really well written and great stories.

Brenda Yes Judy I'm looking forward to the next book. Tied man really shook me!! I've read New Life too. Bonnie Dee has written some great books!

Harley_Girl_13 I don't write reviews, not good at it(I'm analytical not creative)...anyway, I do put all the books I read in sub categories, so feel free to go thru my books & pm me if you have any questions.... I know I have a bunch in my erotica & bdsm cats...
