"Encores from the mid-1990s are "Emma" and "Pride and Prejudice," the latter being memorable (among other reasons) for Colin Firth's body-clinging, sopping-wet shirt as Mr. Darcy."

Were there really other reasons?

message 4: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) I really don't think so, Alison. Have you ever noticed how many films have Mr. Firth fully clothed and sopping wet? Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason and Love, Actually come immediately to mind.

Haha. Kind of like John Cusack always having a scene in the rain (Say Anything, High Fidelity, ummm, I know there's another one).

Sarah, that's hysterical. I seriously hadn't thought about it. But honestly, none compare to P&P. Ja-you-see! (I don't mean the films themselves, I mean those moments.)

message 7: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Well, you know, both of those boys look good wet.

OMG! OMG! There are some SERIOUSLY funny comebacks to that one, Sarah... but I'll pretend to be a good girl this time.
