Simon stopped and he stood still because even though his back was to her, he could feel her anguish even from here, "Lily, it's not your fault. I still love you but as a sister. I want to talk to you but I need to be alone to think and I can't do that with you here." He turned around finally and he felt a sucker punch to his stomach as he saw her. "Please understand that this is hard for me too," he whispered as he went to her and hug her.

He took a step back and look at her, "Goodbye," he whispered before leaving for the Palazzo della Signoria.
lily comes in being carried by simon holding the necklace he gave her her eyes are closed and her breathing light and shallow and her heart beating faintly
Simon went up to her room and he laid her carefully on her bed, he kissed her on the forehead before saying, "Lily, I need to go but please listen. I don't want you following me please for your own protection." He looked at her one last time before leaving.

Simon walked through the hideout with a worried look on his face. He didn't know why but being here all of sudden was all sorts of wrong. Maybe it was not right to come to this world because he was reminded of the people he lost back in his world.
