Hi, One of my book covers is the wrong dimensions (not sure how this happened). This looks bad because the book is part of a series, so next to its companion book, the two covers don't match in size. I want to replace the cover, but I don't see a "replace" option on the edit page. It only says "Delete Photo." I am leery of deleting the photo because I'm not sure if I'll then have the option to upload a new one. Can someone please explain how to best replace the book cover? Thanks

The cover for my e-book Fatal vision is from an out of print print book. I would like to update the cover, please. How do I do this with author status?
Okay, I just tried to delete the cover that I wanted to replace and got the following prompt: "Sorry, only users with librarian status can edit book & author data. If you'd like librarian status, please apply here. To report an inaccuracy to a librarian please visit the Goodreads Librarians Group." I can't replace my own book covers? I thought that was one of the privileges of having an author page? Hmmmmm
We're not allowed to delete covers. If You replace the cover with a different design you'll have to create a new cover without the ISBN /ASIN field filled in and say in the description that its an alternative for ISBN / ASIN what ever it is.If you want a cover replaced with a like for like cover you'll have to provide the image to replace it with.
I have no idea about Author status. I don't think you can.
Yep, that's why I'm here - to ask a librarian to change my cover. I am happy to provide a new cover along with all the pertinent ISBN/ASIN data. :)
I can understand why you wouldn't want people changing images all over the place. But the image that is associated with my book Fatal Vision now is from (a) an old print edition/old e-book version that is unavailable except as "used" thus they both have different ISBNs, and (b) the e-book that is now available has been "revised" and has a new ISBN and a new cover -- thus in fact it can be said to be a different book. Thanks for your help.

Hi Armi, this matter still needs some attention. If you go to my author page: http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/..., then scroll down to "Series by D. A. Metrov," you'll see Falcon Lord Book One & Book Two. You'll notice that they are different sizes, when in reality, they should be the exact same size. I'm not sure how this happened. One of the other (older?) versions of Falcon Lord Book One seems to have the cover with correct dimensions (gets confusing). Ideally, Falcon Lord Book One cover should be replaced so it matched Falcon Lord Book Two cover. Let me know what else you might need from me. Thanks.

If you make the cover with the dimensions you want the primary edition, it should be the one that shows on the series page.

I made the correct edition the Primary Edition, and that changed the cover everywhere except in the "Series by D. A. Metrov" section. Hopefully this will update at some point; we'll give it some time? Thanks so much for your help!
