Oh, lucky! I can never do that, no matter how I try. :(

Sam (Readlovelaughlive) | 4404 comments Recurring dream was my one nightmare:

two men in black chasing me, trying to kill me, and me running, knowing that one day I would be caught.

message 2603: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh my goodness I can't count the number of times people chase me in my dreams and try to kill me. It's terrifying.

Ice Breaker #68: When was the last time you did something for the first time? What was it?

I went on my first mission trip (local) in June, it was great!

Ice Breaker #69:

Have you ever had a reoccurring dream? What was it?

I don't usually remember my dreams, so no.

Be a published author; travel the world; have my very own library.

"When are you coming back?"

Either a large, old farmhouse or French chateau.

3. A house on the beach with a lot of windows! :)

T.C. Slonaker | 566 comments Thanks. ;)

To be happy; to be faithful; to be a blessing.

I choose not to answer.

A condo/loft on a very high floor (80 and above), with glass wall to wall.

1. For my family to know The Lord, and get their heads on straight. :) I wish, I wish, I wish, I could play the piano, and to bring a smile to everyone I meet.

2. Umm, it's pretty personal... But generally speaking why do good, godly people lose their life early?

3. A cozy studio apartment with lots of color, and class. :)

1) That no one in my family has any health problems (I guess including myself in there XP), and that we also wouldn't have to worry about money, aaaaand that He would give me good godly christian friends :)

2) Er...that's kinda a hard question to even begin thinking about! I'm not sure. There's no question that I really especially want to ask Him XP

3)Just a nice two story mansion will do XD

I love those kind of houses too!

1) Salvation for all my loved ones. To be bold; unafraid of stepping out. To touch lives around me.

2) I would ask what His purpose is for my life here - to make my way clear. But I pray that, anyway. :) Anything else I wonder about I'll know when I get to heaven.

3) With Caro on this one - a cozy cabin/chateau/lodge in the mountains!

ikr so cozy XD

message 2615: by [deleted user] (new)

Wow... The websites I frequent are YouTube, Facebook, Goodreads, Google, and Pinterest... that's about it. The occasional blog...

I sometimes wonder what would happen if Facebook got deleted, though. ^__^ Wouldn't that be a tragedy. :P

message 2616: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha, Facebook is basically a "grapevine" and announcement site. Whoever's not on Facebook don't know nothin' lol.

message 2617: by Sam (new)

Sam (Readlovelaughlive) | 4404 comments I don't have FB, and I feel like most of the info on there is stuff I don't care about or have time for. Cheers to living a mainstream life without FB! xD

message 2618: by Sam (new)

Sam (Readlovelaughlive) | 4404 comments I would gladly delete the site :))

lol I need FB to talk to people since I can't text. And its less awkward then to ask someone for their number XD

message 2620: by [deleted user] (new)

I love Facebook. :P It's the only way I can keep in touch with people I met at camp and family I never see.

message 2621: by Carolyn, The God of Angel Armies (new)

Carolyn (caroheartsbooks) | 9968 comments Mod
yeah for sure

I probably would only need the messaging system. not so much status updates. its nice to reach people quickly

message 2622: by T.C. (new)

T.C. Slonaker | 566 comments Yeah, I totally live on FB. I would be a little lost without it.

lol our reliance on technology. XD Letters only take a day to send in MI! I didn't know that, it's great.

message 2624: by [deleted user] (new)

I'd get rid of all the porn sites. I'm pretty sure we don't need those.

message 2625: by Sam (new)

Sam (Readlovelaughlive) | 4404 comments I find that not having fb forces me to prioritize who I keep in touch with, Caro! if I care enough about you, I'll make the effort to text, call, or videochat etc. That's what I do for family and friends who are important to me - whichever medium they prefer. fb seems like it creates a lot of static, background noise. we add people we don't know very well and don't care about, and they add us back. It's the only way for most people to have over a thousand friends. those aren't all friends. they're acquaintances.

message 2626: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Ooooh, good idea Christal! *says same thing* XD

true. but when you're starting to want to get to know someone-say from youth group or something its easy to begin. And for group chats when we don't have texting :) but yeah I see what you mean, excessive information about acquaintances

♥Caro♥ wrote: "lol I need FB to talk to people since I can't text. And its less awkward then to ask someone for their number XD"

Yeah, same here. I've stopped even looking at the main feed of my FB. And the most I post are a couple pictures, I just don't have the time to sit there coming up with a FB status. I use the FB messenger app to keep in touch with family and friends from before my family moved. And that's about it. Yeah, I do log on maybe once a day (less recently), but after looking at my notifications I don't spend hours scrolling through my feed.
I think it just comes down to the fact that either you use technology or technology uses you. You just have to set your own rules and prioritize what is going to be the most important, lasting thing. Will you even remember all those things that you spent hours reading and "liking" in a year?
So whether it's FB, pinterest (that's the one that gets me) or any social media site, you have to make sure things do not become idols and take away your relationship with God and make you miss out on God's plans for your life.

Haha, sorry for the long rant there. I think it was a bit of preaching to self. ;)

To answer #71 I'd have to agree with Christal and Ashley, it would be awesome if there where no porn sites.

I only have like 168 friends. :P I don't add a bunch of people, either. Just family, friends, and yes, some people from camp that I want to recognize me should I ever see them again. Haha. :P

There's already a nebula named after me, so. Hmm.

Ashley | 1541 comments Uhm, I have no idea! Maybe something really original, like star. XD But seriously, I'd probably just hand over my whole naming privilege to someone who actually thinks naming a star is super cool and amazing and already has a name in mind and everything :3

you can still communicate in other ways :)

message 2647: by [deleted user] (new)

With the rest of yous. I would rather lose my voice than my sight or hearing, even though singing is one of my favourite things.

message 2648: by Sam (new)

Sam (Readlovelaughlive) | 4404 comments yeppp. I mean, I think it would push me to be more effective in other ways. I'd definitely work on my writing if I couldn't speak. it would be the only way my thoughts could really be heard.
