It is! I was eating it all throughout the day, hoping I could get most of it before the thirteen other people in the house got to it.

message 2552: by [deleted user] (new)

LOL! I know how that is. xD First come, first served.

Wow, the timing of this. This week, I was in the hospital for several days with my youngest daughter, who was just diagnosed with diabetes. I have not yet even wrapped my head around all the last firsts we probably had.

message 2554: by [deleted user] (new)

Big life change, that. I remember when a family friend's daughter, who was also 7 at the time, was diagnosed with diabetes.

message 2555: by T.C. (new)

T.C. Slonaker | 566 comments Yes, my daughter is 7 too. It is actually a good time I think, because she will grow up know that this is just how her life is. She's adjusting to it fairly well now.

job interview today.... :/

message 2557: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Really?!

message 2558: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments How'd it go?

message 2559: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (hopeless-wanderer) Yup. I'm hired.... she (the boss) knows how shy I am (because my sister works there and told her all about me) and she was very sweet. She asked me if I wanted to work there and I had to be honest so I told her I don't know..... she completely understood and said that it was my decision to make, but she would love it if I work there. If I decide to work there I get to work the first few days with my sister so she can help me/show me how to do things.
It's really close by so I can walk there everyday and the best part is that it opens at 11 so I wouldn't have to get up early for it. xD
I know I'm gonna have to say yes... my family thinks it'll be good for me cuz I don't know anyone and hopefully this'll get me out of my shell.
Oh yeah! It's a small pizza/sandwich place. :P
The thing I'm most nervous about is having to call out peoples names so I know where to take the food. :/

message 2560: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Wow, that's awesome!!! And yeah, it'll definitely be good for you :) Try not to worry about the whole calling-out-people's-names thing. After a while it won't be a big deal XP

Yay! Congrats. :) Definitely good for you. You'll do great!

message 2562: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (hopeless-wanderer) thanks. :)
Could you pray for me about it? I'm sooo nervous. I still haven't told her yes, and I think I'm more scared to tell her then to actually work there.

message 2563: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments I'll be praying for you :D

message 2564: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (hopeless-wanderer) thanks a lot! I really need it. :/

message 2565: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Aw! Well I'll specifically pray that you'll stop feeling so nervous about it! X3

message 2566: by [deleted user] (new)

I'll pray for you! :) It's hard taking the first step like that. It's so easy to just stay in our comfort zones.

message 2567: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Mmmmmm...well I have weird dreams all the time (examp. a dog-snake thing was in a recent dream...it had legs all the way down it's body but it was super friendly XD) but I'm not sure about recurring ones...

message 2568: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Whoa! That's really weird for a little kid to dream about...

message 2569: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Haha, I can relate to the whole dreams-not-making-sense thing!
When I was little I had a crush on Peter Pan, and I like, had dreams about him for a few days (yes, I was delighted about that, btw) :3

message 2570: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Lol, that's awesome!! I think I've only flown once in a dream...the other times I'll like, moonwalk/float XD
So, have you finished making that group you were working on yet? *curious*

message 2571: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Yeah, I bet it is *purses lips*

message 2572: by Ashley (new)

That sounds like an AMAZING dream, Ashley. ^___^

message 2574: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Lol XD It was! There was this one with Captain Hook and Sebastian in it...that included a sea battle and diving into the ocean... ^.^

And Kk!

Haha, sounds like you have very adventurous dreams!

message 2576: by [deleted user] (new)

I do have recurring dreams occasionally. If I'm worried about something, or feeling anxious or super excited, then I'd dream about the anticipated event for several nights in a row. :P

Also when I'm sick and feverish, I get the same claustrophobic dream of me sitting in a canoe with someone, in the middle of a swamp, and the trees edging closer and closer until they form a tight circle around us and I feel like I can't breathe. That exact dream. Never fails.

message 2577: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Replace 'adventurous' with 'weird' and you've got it.
And hhhhmm...that's interesting...and kinda scary sounding!

Ice Breaker #69:

Have you ever had a reoccurring dream? What was it?"

thanks :)

I have actually... I was in bed inside a cave and I got out and went over and looked into a mirror. It kinda sucked me up and took me to a spacey futuristic world. Sounds way cooler than it actually was though! :P

message 2579: by Ashley (last edited Sep 08, 2014 08:10PM) (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Oooh, I've done that too! I think (in the dream) I said something like 'This isn't real, I'm not awake yet' and then I made myself wake up.

message 2580: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha, yes! I've dreamed that I was dreaming in my dream. xD

MADE yourself wake up? I can never do that. I'm so not a lucid dreamer.

message 2581: by [deleted user] (new)

Do you girls ever get that deja vu feeling when something happens and you're like "Wait... I've DREAMED this before!"?

message 2582: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (hopeless-wanderer) Cari wrote: "Do you girls ever get that deja vu feeling when something happens and you're like "Wait... I've DREAMED this before!"?"

ALL THE TIME!

message 2583: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1541 comments Yeah, I make myself wake up if a dream get's really scary or whatever...it's a nice skill to have, lol. Usually the dream ends/I wake myself up right before the bad part/I get killed or whatever XP

Aaaand...no, I don't think I have...

message 2584: by Ashley (new)

message 2585: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (hopeless-wanderer) I've been seriously injured in a lot of dreams. One time I got stabbed in the stomach and it felt really weird.. I woke up in what felt like just a couple minutes and I still felt so weird.

I've gotten shot in the back (by my brother) in one of my dreams. I woke up feeling pain in the exact place I was shot in my dream. xD

Rachel (hopeless-wanderer) Hehehehe!

Rachel (hopeless-wanderer) I don't think I've ever fallen off my bed.... which is strange considering how much I wiggle around when I sleep.
