Jacklyn | 525 comments Hey, would you want to rid the world of one evil, or give the world one good?
(That might be a good WYR...)

Ahhhh to hard to hard. I think one good...idk

message 2258: by [deleted user] (new)

I would rid the world of one evil. Like abortion.

Agreed

Sam (Readlovelaughlive) | 4404 comments @Caro - hey, it's hard to write something ridiculously catchy! people go to comp school for like, four years to learn, and a lot are never lucky enough to write a fully catchy one ! xD

message 2261: by [deleted user] (new)

It's all in the beat and repetition.

message 2262: by Jacklyn (new)

Jacklyn | 525 comments Yeah, but not TOO repetitive...otherwise it's not really fun to listen to.

message 2263: by Sam (new)

Sam (Readlovelaughlive) | 4404 comments It's easier said than done

message 2264: by brooke1994 (new)

brooke1994 (formerlynarnian525) I'd also want to rid the world of alcohol and drugs

haha "catchy" isn't a very definite term, it all depends

message 2267: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (hopeless-wanderer) 1 - Go take a super long walk/bike ride
2 - I don't need an extra hour of free time cuz I'm alone all day.... sleep
3 - Uhh.... I can't think of any. :/

message 2268: by Roxanne (new)

Roxanne | 2 comments Mine was Rocky. Still called that by my sisters. One nickname of many over the years

message 2269: by [deleted user] (new)

1) I would prank people. :D That would be the best. Day. Ever.

2) I would probably waste it like I do my other free time, lol. But an hour's nap in the middle of the day would be nice.

3) Umm. I usually get pretty practical stuff. But I did get a barbie from my Aunt once, and I was like 14. I think she mixed me up with my younger sister (we don't see our relatives often)... so yeah. I was like "Ooo-kay. A barbie. Thanks!". :P

2)Reading
3)I don't know.

1. I'd probably walk around all day wearing like, my pyjamas :P

2. I would try and do something social. Haven't done that in a loooooong time. :/

3. The weirdest gift I received was probably a pair of tweezers from a friend. I didn't quite know how to take it... was she telling me I needed to pluck my eyebrows...? Anywho, they were good tweezers, and I use them to this day.

1. I would go someplace quiet and write all day!
2. Nap.
3. My husband once got me a car battery for Christmas. Just in case I ever might need it. Ha! He seriously thought he was being really thoughtful. I told him I had no idea what to do with it, so I was STILL going to have to call him for help if there was ever a problem.

message 2274: by Jacklyn (new)

Jacklyn | 525 comments 1. Definitely prank people!!
2. I would like to maybe read/pray or spend time w/ god, because a friend challenged me to read the bible one hour every day...
3. I don't know...mitten gel warmer things?

1). do nice things for people and SPY ON THEM

2). PRAYING

3). uhhhhhh clothes from my grandparents......they have interesting taste...

message 2277: by [deleted user] (new)

I actually really like the spending the hour praying idea. That's what I would like to do instead! At my house it's so hard to get privacy/quiet time so I could have communion with God. I have to like get up really early or wait up til people are sleeping, lol.

message 2281: by [deleted user] (new)

Is that a once-in-a-lifetime thing? 'Cause if that's the case, I have yet to get my 15 minutes of fame. :P

message 2282: by Sam (new)

Sam (Readlovelaughlive) | 4404 comments what counts as fame? xD I haven't hit 20 million followers on twitter yet...

message 2283: by [deleted user] (new)

maybe a scholarship, a standing ovation, an award of some sort, an interview?

message 2284: by [deleted user] (new)

Gah, I haven't been on in so long!!!

I don't think I've gotten my 15 minutes of fame yet... hmm.

Sam (Readlovelaughlive) | 4404 comments Sara wrote: "Sam wrote: "what counts as fame? xD I haven't hit 20 million followers on twitter yet..."

I thought that anything that you personally thought was fame worthy would count. Sorry about this ice brea..."

No, it's okay! You're doing a great job :) I don't know how fame-worthy these are, but they are highlights :P

1. I delivered a motivational speech in the Grand Ballroom of the Le Ritz Hotel to around 1000 business people at an annual dinner gala, one of whom was Wayne Gretzky (not a hockey fan, but it was cool to share a table with him!).

2. I've emceed for my band and orchestra's opening night at the National Arts Centre, and also performed as a soloist.

3. I launched the first student newspaper at my school, and everyone loved it, so I had a pure day when I felt famous, because people kept stopping me in the halls for selfies with me to tweet (I guess celebs get that every day).

4. Winning the biggest scholarship from a nation-wide company, and being congratulated at a formal dinner by CEOs and officials. I was ready to explode when I walked through the hotel lobby, because the lobby clerks knew my name before I told them... I felt special :3

5. This is kind of weird, but my manager and one of my orchestra conductors have their class give me a standing ovation every time I walk through their classroom. Even if I just have to see them for a quick second, they interrupt the class they're teaching, introduce me, and have them all stand and clap. I think it's partly to tease me, but I guess it kind of classifies as fame xD

6. I was a valedictorian nominee, which gave me more attention than I wanted the past few weeks...

7. Competing and winning at the National Shakespeare Festival in Ottawa... it was a piece I directed, and just having so many people see it was amazing :D

I don't know if any of that classifies as fame :P Sorry if it doesn't really; I tried Sara!

message 2290: by Sam (new)

Sam (Readlovelaughlive) | 4404 comments Haha, you know who's famous? Lia, that's who :P I call that girl a celebrity when I forget that she's my best friend... I mean, I haven't founded any sort of international charity, or speak regularly at Parliament, or anything like that xD

I'm pretty sure I've had more than my 15 minutes of fame, and that's just for being a clutz. That's the only thing I'm famous for! Lol
