I DO THAT TOO. I literally take deep breaths, count, give myself a pep talk... and then squash it. It's pitiful, kinda, but hey, at least it works.

well, I am sorry I am here to comment and share a little late. My nickname as a child was Tete in castelian for the reason that my name is Janeth they just shortened it. well, my grandfather did. you pronounce it as ed at the end. so it has a very particular sound. Most people comment on how unique it is. LOL :D
