I call my mom Mummy sometimes to bother her but I always say Dad.

I stopped saying mommy and daddy fairly early...dad didn't like us saying that anyway... my husband still said mommy when I met him when he was 22...he did stop after a while, mainly because I got on him about it :P we have our son say mama and papa :)

I started calling my parents mom and dad when I was about 10, but somehow I slipped back into the old routine. :)

When I was little I called my parents Mama and Papa. Now it seems strange that I ever used to call them that. It is now 'Mom' and 'Dad'. :)

That's because that's the Filipino way :) I call my parents Mama and Papa, but I refer to them as Mommy and Daddy.

i call my mom so many things chinese "Ma-ma" i call my dad bubbi sometimes lol bc u say "Ba-ba" in chinese. i still call them mommy and daddy sometimes shrug ive never thought about it

There's this story that still circulates around my school about this girl who peed in a bottle on the bus on a school trip (the bus driver wouldn't pull over!). She was successful... and then the bus jerked. Spilled the entire contents of the bottle... How embarrassing!!

lol yeah I remember peeing in a bottle, because we were on a road trip... and we couldn't stop for some reason. all the boys were doing it, so I did it too. I was pretty successful. Had some Kleenex in my backpack and it was all good. I pretended it was apple juice and nobody was the wiser.

I forgive you. My sister-in-law's name has the second a like that "Rachael;" my spelling is the original Hebrew Bible name, "Rachel" Lamb of God (God is El)...to me, it shouldn't be pronounced the same if there's another a, it should sound like "michael"...anyway, rambling...
