Unable to get my covers onto Goodreads

i tried to gain librarian status to allow me to edit my own publications on Goodreads but I couldn't do it. Perhaps you could put the correct images onto my book listing here?

Here's a link to where you can buy my paperbacks and there you will see the ISBNs and cover images, can you use these to ensure the correct images are displayed/

Nicci, we are not allowed to use cover images from booksellers. If you have a copy that you can scan, you can add it to your profile and we can add it from there. Or we can use a publisher's site - so if you have the URL to it, we could use that.

OK I'm confused?? I published these books myself through Lulu.com so the book seller and the publisher are the same company? The URL is provided in this message with the ISBNs?

Failing that I have uploaded all my covers onto Goodreads, can I achieve librarian status so I can correct my covers or can someone else do this please?My Story Confessions of a Seductress

There are alternate cover / new editions with the covers from lulu already on GR.

We do not remove the old covers

the old editions are obsolete and due to copyright reasons they should not be displayed on here or any other site. they were uploaded by someone and should never have been displayed. It may be better for Goodreads to remove these as I have now stated this on numerous threads.

when i try to delete/change or edit the incorrect covers i keep getting the message that only librarians can do this, I'm really stuck here

I have now tried to follow the instructions to combine the three editions that each of my books have gained here on Goodreads but now it seems that all my titles have combined into one book? Please Help?

Your books are correctly set up as per GR policy and standards.

If there are legal issues with the old covers then you need to contact GR support and provide the reasons and legal documents to them.

You get the message when trying to change covers because that is against GR policy, I suggest you read all the messages in the link I provided earlier

I'd still like to know where the old covers came from. When i added the new covers they were blank. So someone somehow deleted them. But if they were deleted where they replaced from.

They where deleted previously incorrectly by another librarian, there is a restore function.

If there are legal reasons for covers not to be there then GR staff will put a note on the book once they are satisfied to to not add covers which was not there.

I'm afraid you are still displaying the wrong covers, here's the link to my author page on amazon. Only those covers should appear here on goodreads. All others should be deleted and may have been deleted already before you restored them

GR does not delete covers.

If there's a copyright issue then you need to use the contact system to get in touch with the big bosses and explain it to them.

We also cannot use cover images from Amazon or other booksellers. If you have an author site or publisher site where they can be found, please link there.
