Readers and authors wanted for interviews
I'm wondering if we should just have one thread for this?I think this is the third thread asking for volunteers for various blogs?
I dunno. What do you lot think? One thread where bloggers and volunteers can meet up or separate threads for each blogger? I don't mind which. Just whatever would be easiest and get the most attention.
Oh yeah. Must shift all the other blog volunteers wanted threads in here...Or I could leave it and let Simon sort them.

Hi Alexandra, I write books and have a new one out in May, Road to Rouen, a travel book. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Road-Rouen-Be...If you wanted we could talk.
Best Ben
You can get me on twitter @BenHatch easily. Let me know I am standing by with chat.
I don't have twitter, sorry. I am not looking at travel books at the moment, to be honest but I might consider it in the future. Drop me an email at libraryofErana@yahoo.co.uk
One thread for this stuff, would be good. It would reduce the time people and moderators had to spend visiting each and every. Plus, for those regularly interested in these opportunities, as a stable page, it can be saved to favourites.
No worries, Alexandra. My first real foray into Goodreads. Another time maybe. Good luck with it all
Thanks. I can send the questions out and do a guest one later on perhaps. Drop me a PM with your email.
With someone like Ben, it would be interesting to know what a travel writer reads and what and how do you take books when you're travelling.I suppose now with Kindle you can take everything but in the good old bad old days you had to be very selective and the books you packed could say a lot about you ;-)
I'm happy to be interviewed if my spacious dressing room contains water served at exactly 20 degrees Celsius and a bowl filled with BLUE m and m's. :)
Sorry only red M and Ms. I can probably find space for everyone eventually but I didn't think this many people would be interested.
Will wrote: "Get the M and M and I'll give RMF all the blue ones. Don't like those."Full of artificial colours!
Yes, that is what I thought. A lot of people do author interviews but without readers then authors would be writing for themselves. When I read a book I know why I enjoy it (or don't)but what about others. A lot of people seem to have strong opinions on reviews but do readers actually take notice? Why do people read, what do they like and dislike?
Author interview number 3 :) http://libraryoferana.wordpress.com/2...Someone likes my idea of reader interviews so much she is going to do some her own.
I like the idea of reader interviews as well... But I'm in the middle of a Blog Crisis right now :-(My daughter likes the reader interviews...
At least she asked if I minded:) I don't see why not to be honest, I just hinted she directed them to my blog:)
Good! Yes, I don't post author stuff anymore. Just if I'm about to publish something, or I need help with the book cover or stuff like that.
The author interviews are fun to do and it is a good way of finding a potential new read but the reader interviews get more traffic. I don't post much about my books. The links are there and there is a page but as I am in the stage of making book 2 ready there isn't much to say:) I am getting some author interviews of my own at some point and will post those there. I might try for some reviewer interviews as well:)
