Aron Ralston was a huge thrill-seeker before this incident. Do you believe that he was changed to be more careful, or that he still has the reckless attitude that he had before the accident?

Personally, I think that he will be more careful next time. Even though his other near death experiences did not teach him his lesson, this accident gave him time to think and ponder over what his death could really mean to his family and friends and in a way, it was a warning to be more careful.

With age will come maturity. This may have helped?

I'm sure he stills enjoys his adventures whenever he can but as Karen said - with age comes maturity. He is also now married and has at least one child which makes most people think twice before taking an unnecessary risk since they feel they have someone depending on them.
