About a group of nursing home residents who decide to write a book /s

The title of this book is (mans name)'s Ending. In the beginning of the book we meet several characters one a lady who lost everyone in the war. At the middle of the book they are all in a nursing home. The group decides they have to do something meaningful and starting writing a book. It is the story of the Holocaust survivor. I read this book about 6 years ago, and can't remember much more.

Huh..almost sounds like it could be Abe Gilman's Ending...but it was published in 2010, and the story they're writing is about a boy in the Holocaust... But I couldn't find any others with that kind of title, and it seems unlikely that there would be too many books which would meet these criteria...
