Well, I was thinking in terms of the books published at the time of lockup. So, no, no new releases after lockup.
Great choices, Angie!
Hard for me to choose but I'm going to say Julie Garwood and Pamela Clare. But I can think of about 8 more authors that would work just as nicely.

Very nice! I was going back and forth with Pamela Clare, as well.
Yep, LK is on my short list. I'd so love her work too. I like Nora Roberts but I rarely reread her.
such a cruel question ladies. i'd have to put about 12 in a basket and choose the names that way. hey a good question would be what authors to you auto-buy
Definitely Kristen Ashley and Kresley Cole :) (I love Paullina Simons's Bronze Horseman trilogy-I wonder if I can get that in as a bonus) lol
This is very hard but I think I'm going to go with Linda Howard and Anne Stuart. Would we be locked up togther so we can swap books??? =)

Angie, sounds like a plan to me ;)
Love this make believe question..and I wish I could really have a year to do this.I haven't ventured out to PNR romance yet because I want to be able to have time to dive into JR Ward's BDB books..so that's why I'm picking JR Ward as one of the authors. For my second author, I'm torn between Lisa Kleypas and Mary Balogh. Though I'm leaning more towards Balogh since she has a lot more books I haven't read yet.
Pamela(AllHoney) wrote: "Maybe we can all be neighbors and slip books to each other during meals ☺ lol"We will have to eat together, Pamela, since I will want to take advantage of your Pamela Clare stash. ;)
It's so hard to choose but for me I think it'd have to be Kresley Cole and Pamela Clare. Really cannot live without their books, I love them all. But if someone was willing to bake me a cake and sneak in couple of select books by some other authors I would be thankful. Just make sure to wrap them in plastic, it'd take forever to clean the cake off the books. LOL.
Anne Stuart and Christine Feehan. They will keep me very busy and satisfied, especially with the GhostWalkers and the Prakenskiis, and Anne Stuart's delicious heroes. :)
G.A. Aiken/Shelly Laurenston (same person) and Karen Marie Moning (my book hubby is in here: JERICHO ZIGOR BARRONS)
It's terribly difficult. I tend to have trouble packing, because of choosing what books to bring.
Lady Danielle aka The Book Huntress wrote: "It's terribly difficult. I tend to have trouble packing, because of choosing what books to bring."That is absolutely true for me too. I leave things behind to make room for my books.
I am thinking maybe Terry Pratchett, since I haven't have time yet to read any of his works but I do intend to. And there is a lot of books from there. But I think I need to have something to reread as well, so my second author must be Karen Chance. And if I am studying as well as workning, that might be enough. :D
