((Hi, Josh! I did try again to post on the blog, but it really doesn't work. So I post here my comment. I'm not participating to the draw, but thank you for your generosity))


I always missed to have grandparents. I only knew my mother's father and he died when I was 6 years old.

You probably already heard this, but a fond memory is that on Sunday afternoon he used to take me to a local garden restaurant. I would get a sandwich with plenty of salami and a lemonade (gazzosa). I was allowed to get some drops of his red wine so that the lemonade it would become pink.

But Josh — who is ALWAYS extremely supportive and generous, as you all know — comforted me by saying that (and I hope it's alright if I quote): "I think the mouse is appropriately and adorably mousy even if his first cousin on his mother's side is a rat".
