What's New From Josh?

Although, to be honest, I could never read a mystery in which a cat solves the case. I should be more loyal to my beloved Kit, but he would have starved a long time before the beginning of the series, if it was for readers like me.

Thanks and you're welcome! :-)

Love this video! And I am very familiar with the power of shaking the treat bag!

Funny thing: My original thoughts about writing Mr. Pinkerton Adventures was that cats don't care about solving mysteries. They care about the best place to nap, catnip toys, chasing butterflies in the garden, knocking down Christmas trees, so that's what I write.....except Mr. Pinkerton does seem quite capable of understanding the English language. :-)
Funny thing, I created a book list about animals in mystery novels for work the other day. I barely scratched the surface, no pun intended, on the number of cats and dogs solving murder mysteries. I was surprised myself. I think the list had 14 titles on it.
Seriously, look this up in GR Listopia, you'll be shocked.

I actually like The Cat Who books by Lilian Jackson Braun and the Joe Grey Mysteries by Shirley Rousseau Murphy, but was never able to get into some of the others.

Thank you, I enjoyed very much the cartoon even though it is from 1933! Or maybe because it is from 1933.

I've now watched that cartoon twice today — first by myself and the second time with hubby. Also he loved it. :-)

In exchange can you confirm that BFD means «big fucking deal» and not «Bundesfreiwilligendienst»? ;-)

Any glimpse of Jason and Sam is welcome. I hope they'll (view spoiler) .

Are you still having problems posting on the blog? I just ran into something similar. Because the page wouldn't load completely I couldn't see the form to write something.
It helped to switch browsers, though. Usually I go with Firefox but in this case Chrome worked fine.

Thank you for the tip.
My problem is different though. I can write something and then it will disappear, no matter which alternative I choose to publish it. I even went back to dig out my old LJ address, to no avail...

Thank ..."
Have you tried this routine: write - copy - click on preview - paste - click on publish?
This worked for me a while back.

So good! My heart is still aching and I'm desperately trying to get a grip of myself and make the tears stop falling. When I've calmed down a bit, I'll go back and reread it...

Thank you for your solidarity.
I'll try again, also because I installed an update on my Mac, maybe this could change something.

Quite a challenge!
There have been such wonderful contributions to our calendar. And this year I really, really needed them too. I think it's made the calendar so special. :-)

I loved that this coda was from Jake's perspective. I enjoyed it immensely. Thanks Steve!
