Thank you, KC! Very interesting blog post - I did not know that the Fair series is intended as a trilogy - wonderful news!!! And I definitely need to read more by Ginn Hale, I liked Wicked Gentlemen a lot, but never proceeded from there...

My very favorite of Ginn's is the Rifter series. It actually got me back into reading after a long lull.

If anyone here loves fantasy but hasn't read The Rifter, you HAVE to. You just, I don't know how anyone could not like the Rifter, unless you don't like MM. And what's not to like about MM, right? lol.

But don't buy them one at a time. You need to get the whole bunch at once. You'll fly through them very quickly and then need to reread in order to delve deeper. :-)

Yes, I ordered all three paperbacks yesterday, together with the paperbacks of the AE-series I have resisted so long (thinking that I will not buy anything in paperback I have as an e-book, no no, and trying to reduce the piles of books on the shelves and on the floor and on the desk, not enlarging them :-)
Good thing it's my birthday next week, so it is the very best of gifts and I will hopefully feel not too guilty about it!

Well done, Varecia! Also, those Rifter paperbacks are beautiful with all the cool illustrations and maps in them. I love them dearly. And I SO AGREE with Josh's Rifter recommendation. :-)

And congratulations on your new AE paperbacks too! :-D

Nice, Varecia. I'm looking forward to having Rifter paperbacks someday (and AE as well!). I think I will ask for them both for Christmas... ;)

Not just yet because it is a direct link to the other half of my life, and I am struggling with these two things converging. Which probably sounds quite odd...and maybe is quite odd. ;-D

They really did an amazing job of collecting contributors with varied experiences and insights. Happily there were very few blatantly self-promoting efforts. I really enjoyed reading along, really enjoyed experiencing a fresh perspective, new insight.

It's not that I/we have not been curious about who "else" you are, but I can say that I/(and we, I'd guess) are content to wait until, and if, you are ready to share that.

What they all said.

I'm perfectly happy to read your books and interact here and on Facebook. Already you are one of the most generous authors I have had the privilege to come across, both with your time, your ideas and your words.

(Not that I'm not curious, of course I am, I am human after all. But I live well without knowing more than you are willing to give. Which by the way, goes for all of you here at our little peaceful corner of the interwebs)
