Reverse Order

I've read several complete series by VC Andrews. Every one of them has ended with a book that took place before all of the other books. Has anyone read them in reverse order? I'm thinking about doing that with the next series I read.

I did that with the Casteel series, sort of. It was by accident, too! Started Web of Dreams and then went to Heaven, then went in order. I think if you did reverse order, you would do prequel first, then the last, which might be weird.

If you read the Dollanganger series prequel first, you would have ruined the best surprise for yourself! I think the original VCA intended to save something huge that puts everything in perspective for the prequel, which you're meant to discover last.

I agree you shouldn't read the prequel in the Dollanganger series first.

I agree. The prequel book is always the surprising one.

I think most of her series's are readable in any order. I read most of them out of order the first time round. Sometimes I actually like that better.
