If we are not on Atomic Tangerine, can we still send a request to join the group or would you rather we wait until our team name is up? I don't want to bombard you but since I'm awake, figured I'd send the request so I don't forget to do it later. (Going to be super busy tomorrow so I may be distracted).

Marguerite, you have to go to the Round 2 Group and choose "Join Group", which will then prompt a question for you to answer. Answer the question, send the answer and wait for mod/group owner to approve your request. Hope that helps!
edit: I see that Marguerite already received that info in another thread but I'll leave it here in case anyone else in here needs the info.
I really wish the "Join Group" button would disappear when you request to join a group. I keep feeling like my request did not go through. I'd prefer a "your request is under review" or something to show!

Ok ....sorry I got all excited at the first post in here and went to add myself to Moonstone (Yippee!!) and then I read the rest about it only being Atomic Tangerine that should go and request to join the group. Sorry there was my ADD at work,lol...hanging my head in shame....
Melissa, message #6 states that we can all request to join, even if not in Atomic Tangerine. You're fine. :) We just won't be *approved* until the team captains are all squared away and the mods are satisfied that our teams are ready for us to begin the fun.

Yes, we are going back in time. LOL! No, just kidding. We were going to go to 1300... but then the numbers worked out better for 1350.

Yay Melissa!! You're on my team. We're getting close to having the moderators open our thread.
Is there anything I can be doing to get the team going? I don't think the other captain has checked in yet. Are there instructions anywhere for those who have never been captain before?

You are certainly welcome to check in other Captains' threads. If you want to go it alone for now, and you have everything organized the way you like, just let me know... over there there is an "Open Sesame" thread in which to post, when you are ready.

Erin, I have NOT let you into the group yet; however, it should be shortly. WBY is just about ready. Yes, the team's thread is still closed.
Any idea as to how long before all the groups are up and running?? I know you guys are all working so hard, it just me being excited and impatient!! :) I believe I am on Magenta Mix-Up!!
Donna, it mostly depends on the group captains getting everything ready for everyone! :)It's great to see EVERYONE so EXCITED!!! ABOUT READING :D I wish my circle of friends in "real life" were this passionate about reading. Very few of them read at all! *sigh*

Ozana, you need to go here , click on that first link & join the challenge. Then post your bookshelf name... and then go back to the first link/thread I posted here.
Is there a link that has the total books read for all teams?

To view all the Teams, go in under More challenges... on the Home Page (right under the last visible challenge, lower right-hand corner).
That will take you this page .
You will have to go into each individual team to check their totals.
Expect a 30 minute delay in the totals update, if you just added a book.

☺ Not a big deal, just curiosity and didn't want to confuse anyone. When I first signed up for GR I used my first name. When I first wanted a unique one and changed it, I did not realize it automatically changed on the posts I had already made and several people got confused before I thought to notify them.

I get it! I've been working through the series lately, got to the end of Season 4 earlier, nearly out of DVDs :(

We still have some issues to work out. The spreadsheet is just for viewing. We'll let you in with the Captains/Co-captains figure things out a bit more.
The only Team we'll start letting in tonight is Atomic Tangerine.
Please request to join the group. It is faster than me sending each and everyone of you a friend-invite and then an invite to the "sister group."
