I just looked at the Darkover series, because it is one of my favourite series and wondered why The Bloody Sun is numbered with #17.2 und not just #17. Because if there is a #17.2 , where is the #17.1 ?

I suspect that there has been some combining of editions which were separate when this series was created. Also, the various pieces of this series don't seem to be linked to each other correctly. If no one else wants to tackle it, I might have to time this afternoon to work on it....
What do you mean with not linked to each other?
