For Cerulean (Hobbit) Blue, I will be Captain with Tea and Jojiwoji as co-captains. Although, my capital C is really only because I was chosen as the main contact for the moderators.

Just checking in (for Radical Red) I've posted over in the sister group, checked in with my bookshelf name and started on a spreadsheet.I'm waiting to hear back from Michelle to determine whether we're having 2 co-captains or a Captain and a Co-Captain. The radical red thread on this group is still locked, so I THINK, I've gone as far as I can go for now!

OK so do you need me as a co-captain anywhere or am I just a regular player?
I'm confused. I can see I'm on the spread-sheet for B'dazzled Blue as a back up co-captain. I see that no captain has checked in or reserved posts on that team thread. So does that mean I won't get invited to join the new group or to post on the team thread until they do?

FYI: I'm ok w/being a regular player or a co-captain. You can put me where ever you need me.
@Mary: You're not listed on message #3, so I'd say for now you are a regular member that could act as a backup co-captain if needed. I'm going to check it with Lisa Kay, but for now, you'll have to wait the green light to join in.
Meanwhile, you can set your shelf and start tagging books - any book finished from 12th April, as long as it meets the other rules, counts.
I thought we could just use the shelf we used last round. I'm a OK with just being a back up for b'dazzled blue. I just needed clarifying.

You can. We set the date of the challenge as to begin in the April 12th, so you don't need to worry, as soon as you sign-up to the team challenge, Goodreads will automatically add your books.

Do you need a captain/co-captain for any team? I would be willing to take up the reins, after all, if need be. I've been reading all of the chatter between mods and Round 2 captains and I am feeling a little more confident about what being a captain/co-capt would entail. Let me know if it wouldn't be too much trouble to switch me to a team in need, or even if I'll be needed as a captain for my already-assigned team (B'dazzled Blue). Happy to help in whatever way I can.Thanks! :)

I sent messages to Vikki and Wendelin for Purple Mountain's Majesty. I should be able to be a co-captain for this team! I'll definitely have more time after May!
My only concern with captaining my own group is that I am not computer savvy. I still can't figure how to get a picture to shop up here and I'm not familiar with google spreadsheets. I know a lot about Excel spreadsheets. But I'm on everyday and can even go on at work. I have the time to do it.

Mary I was not familiar with Google Spreadsheets but it is very easy to use. I found some youtube videos that have been very helpful in showing me how to use it. If you can use Excel you will have no problem with google.I have never tried to post a picture so now that is something I will have to try here at home. Not sure if I will be able to do it from work since they block almost everything.

I have yet to bond because my group doesn't seem to be ready yet. I'll help out wherever you need! Sorry for the delay in response, went to run an errand.
edit: Also, I start work in about 45 minutes (2:45 PM CST) and will be gone until around 11:30 CST so I won't be around to answer any questions or do anything related to the teams until tonight. But again, I'm definitely available to co-capt or captain whatever team may need me. Whatever makes things easiest for the mods! :)
I've requested to join the group now - been travelling most of the day and was across the border on a roaming mobile network (hate roaming costs, they sting my phonebill too much!)Last team we'd split the captain duties, different people dealt with different duties, but helped out as needed.

I know I'm tempted to cancel my plans so I can hang out and see if I get a team to command or not.
Am I the Captain of B'dazzled Blue? That's kind of what it looks like on the spreadsheet but at the same time green makes it look not. So.., confused again. I'll check back tomorrow. Going to bed now.
