"I don't know, I never went in far enough." She pulled the door open. There were stairs leading underground.

Katie grabbed a flash light she had left there . "Okay."
"Do you want to go first" he asked "Or do you want me to"
Katie followed, shinning the flashlight in front of her. "What do you think is down there."
"It looks like a tunnel " he said peering down onto the darkness
After a few minutes the steps began to get steeper. She could see a flickering light in the distance.
"I wonder what that is " he said pointing at the light
Katie didn't say anything, she raised the flashlight. A torch was a few feet ahead.
"Now how did that get down here " he mused
"Well, it didn't float down here." She said. "Oh wait, it could have."
"I don't see any magic on it" he said looking closely
Katie shrugged. The stairs ended and she looked around. A cot was in the corner and there were shelves lining the walls, filled with books.
"Do you know who used to live here " he said looking around
"No, I don't even know this was down here." She replied looking around the shelves. "These are pretty new books."
Even though they were new, a thick layer of dust covered them.
Katie got a slight shiver. It all seemed so erie.

"Whats wrong " he asked looking at her
"I like it " he said walking over and picking up a book
"It just all has the dusty, evil layer feel." Katie replied. "And it's cold."
"here " he said giving her a jacket and made a surprised sound
"Thanks." Katie said, walking to another shelf. "I wonder how they get all these books."
"This is strange" he said showing her a book
"Look at this book " he said "This is about a war a long time ago"
"What war?" She replied glancing at the cover.
"that's the point" he said "There was no war like this "
"Is it fiction?" She asked looking at the tittle.
Ela heard a loud thump a few yards away. She couldn't see what it was. "What was that?"
"No idea ' he said Spinning towards the sound and cat ears and a tail appeared
There was another loud thump. Katie backed up. "Let's get out of here." Obvious discomfort was on her face.
he garbed the book and ran towards the exit
Katie ran after him until she could see the ,now, moonlight.
"Were out" he said spinning around and muttering something under his breath
"What was that?" Katie asked out of breath.
"I don't know and don't want to find out ' he said
"Don't know but I think it might be i fay time "
"I means that time moves differently' he said "4 days becomes 4 years" he explained
