message 65: by Summer (new)

Summer (wildskf) I am from Amarillo, TX, USA... or known to most of my family as 'Shithole-Hicktown-USA'

It really isn't too bad. Just a lot of wind, a lot of dust, and every other building is either a bank or a church. Wonderful 'wild west' history though. I like it.

I moved around a lot. I currently live five hours away from where I grew up. I loved a place in Utah. It was small and if I told you the name, and you googled it, you'd find it trashy.

message 76: by [deleted user] (new)

Not right now. Too many tornadoes. Last Friday there was one right by my house. We went to dad's work to take shelter and when we came home I was really really surprised that our house was still there. But there are some really amazing people here. Do you like it where you live?

message 77: by [deleted user] (new)

That's good:) I love it here usually. Last Friday was just a bit traumatic

message 78: by [deleted user] (new)

The skies got really really black so we all went I my dads work since its sturdier than our house. Then my friend texted me and told me the tornado was supposed to go straight through our neighborhood. My neighbor texted my mom and said that the guy she was said that we could be pretty certain that our houses wouldn't be there when we got home. So that was really scary. I was REALLY surprised that our neighborhood was still there when we got home

message 79: by [deleted user] (new)

It's ok. A lot of people in Moore had it way worse
