80s or high 70s Fahrenheit here in my side of Los Angeles all week. Might get a little drizzle this weekend. Spring. Winter. Pretty much all the same this year here.

Pretty rainy today in Oregon. Not at all like yesterday, which was sunny, upper 60's and warm. Today, not so much. Rainy and cold.
After a fortnight's warm weather, kidding us spring was here. back to cold mornings and overnight frosts.-3 on Monday morning when I climbed into my car.
It is windy, cloudy and bitterly cold. When is spring actually going to get here? I'm tired of the wind and the cold.
It's misting here in my side of LA at the moment. We had intermittent clouds/sun all day. It's a bit breezy too. My kind of weather.
it's 46 degrees and rainy here in Long Island, NY which is mild compared to earlier in the week. It is beginning to look like winter is finally releasing its icy grip on our area. Before long we will be complaining about the heat. I can't wait!
Rain. Most of this week in Oregon, it has been raining. The good news? Must be spring. The rain is warmer.
Monday was really nice. Upper 60's in temp, sunshine, really nice.
Then, rain the rest of the week.
I walk for exercise and while there have been periods when I could have walked,
it's nothing I can rely on. In my present state of health, I'd hate to be a quarter
mile from home when it bursts out. Just got over a cold and don't need another
one getting me down.
Also, I listen to Books on CD while I walk. I want to keep on with Elvis Cole and
Joe Pike in an early one, Lullaby Town. I've read it, but, that was some time ago
and it's really piqued my interest to be listening to it.
Going to get a little rain here in LA. We desperately need it and I LOVE the rain so I am happy. Might take the train instead of drive tomorrow though. :=)
Little respite from last week's rain. Not sunny, but, not raining, either. Although, this isn't expected to hold off the rain for very much longer. Enjoying while I can. Got in a walk today. Yay! Got to listen some more to Elvis Cole and Joe Pike in Lullaby Town! On Books on CD while walking for exercise.
The wind is so bad here that yesterday I came down with a migraine
In sunny Essex, the weekend weather continues, although their were showers in Clacton yesterday. Arrived back from the station to find my car covered in a sandy residue, brought over from the sahara.
Rained most of the night here in Oregon. But, today, not too bad. Not raining, but, not really sunny either. Sky is overcast, but, not raining. Probably get some more tonight after dark.Good day for a walk...
Rather cold (the Los Angeles version of cold-- 60's) here today. It's supposed to be 90 by the Monday.
Been told it'll be in the 70's next week in Oregon. As with all favorable weather predictions, I'll believe it when I see it.
The sand from the sahara caused all sorts of health issues the last few days, but it seems to have passed.Today is dry and overcast, but the forecast is for it to clear as the day progesses.
Finally looks like spring is around the corner here in Boston,Massachusetts.Temperatures nearing 60, snow finally melted!
Kay wrote: "Just starting to rain in Fort Worth, TX. Saw rainbow at 19:45, strange this late in the day. 64F"Saw a gorgeous double rainbow last week when we were driving with a granddaughter in the car. She wanted to go off road to pursue the pot of gold at the end of it.
Wouldn't have had to drive far, as we were sitting at a stop sign and could see the next set of stop signs through the rainbow! Never saw that before.
The double wasn't complete, but, the main one was. And, the most vibrant colors I'd ever seen in a rainbow. Here in Oregon we see a bunch of rainbows. Most people just ignore them. We stop and get out to take pictures.
The only complete double rainbow I've ever seen was in Eugene, Oregon back in the 70's. It used to rain a lot more in those days. One of the most gorgeous sights I've ever seen.
Here in southern Alberta, Canada, I think (I'm whispering this so as not to jinx it!) spring might have finally arrived! I even went to my local greenhouse to order my bedding plants. Going to give a shout out to JODY & BLOOMING ACRES, who not only has a green thumb but 8 other digits as well! I even (again, let's whisper pls) turned OFF my furnace today! Sadly tho, even w/ all the snow we had this year, we could use some rain. Doesn't your yard look awful after the snow melts?!
HOT!! IT was hot today, almost 90 here in LA. Even the beaches were over 80 today. Going to be even warmer tomorrow. It's too early in the year for this. People dressed like it was summer today.
Beaches... I have nothing more to say. Ahhhh beaches & sun. I miss the sun. I really hope spring is here to stay but here,it can snow right thru until the May long weekend. Ok, apparently I DID have something more to say! If you knew me you'd know; not a surprise. Hugs all! Hopefully I'll see you all tomorrow!
HOT!!! Honest to god HOT today in La. Thankfully, the temperature drop to thew low 80s tomorrow and drop another 10 degrees by Thursday. It's too early in the year to see this much flesh. :-)
Just want to share some story here. A few years back, the municipal county planted Tabebuia trees around some cities in Malaysia. Well some citizens were not happy with that decision, because there were some cases when during some heavy storms, some cars parked under the trees where heavily damaged by fallen branches and even from the trees itself. Probably because those trees were too old, so the government replant it. And this year, this colourful phenomenon happen.
This picture is taken in Kedah. Location right beside a freshly-plowed paddy field.

At a housing area in Perlis

Up close shot of the fallen flowers.

Some young trees in Putrajaya. Probably need to wait for a few years for it to fully bloom.

Perfect for outdoor wedding photoshoot.
The only complain that I hear now is how are we going to clean this all up???

Hula, those pictures are breathtaking! My mom used to work in Brunei & when I went to visit, we'd always fly to Kota Kinabalu & stay at TanJung Aru. I loved the beautiful wild orchids, the frogs that sounded like fog horns, the vibrant Philippine Market... I love Brunei.Anyway, about the weather; I'm not happy. THERE IS SNOW ON THE GROUND!! Yesterday: +21C. Today: snow. I know the groundhog pushed spring back but how far back did he flipping push it?! Grrrr :) oh well. I'm still not wearing socks anymore. I put them away & away they'll stay.
Spring has finally arrived in Peoria, Illinois. There's not a cloud in the sky. The forecast high is 63 degrees. A gorgeous day.
Yesterday, Spring sprung in Oregon. Temp in the high 70's, cloudless sky. Well, mostly cloudless. Clouded up for evening and then rained in the night.Really like it when it rains at night and is sunny during the day. Kinda seems like it should be that way. I mean, the best time of day to water a garden, is in the early morning hours before dawn. So, rain at night, sunshine during the day. Perfect!

Those pink flowers are gorgeous.
Lovely overcast day here in Los Angeles today. Clouds and in the 60s today/ We might even get a little
We did get rain in Oregon. Not sure about tomorrow, but, betting it's more rain. Not a heavy rain, just wet enough to help things grow, except for people's attitudes.Rain doesn't bother me near as much as the gray skies that accompany it. [sigh]...
Gorgeous day here in Toronto. High today 12 C and sunny. Spent the afternoon clearing branches left by the ice storm. Huda, I am so jealous of those blossoms. Looking forward to seeing some here. We do have crocuses out though.
Very warm here in LA today, 85F/29C. But it is supposed to cool down alter in the week. WE might even get a some of that wet stuff that falls form the sky--what the hell is it called?
Beautiful sunshine today in Oregon. Don't know what the temperature actually was, but, it was warm. Just gorgeous. The kind of day that keeps us here in Oregon.
Sooooooo HOT here in LA today. Yuck. It's going to get to almost 100F(37C) here tomorrow! In April! People are already trotting out there too-short shorts--the ones where their bum hangs out the bottom. Summer is going to be really long and miserable.
Got hot in Oregon, today. Up to high 80's. Don't know what that is in Celcius, but, in Oregon, it's hot. So hot I couldn't go walking until late dusk. And, then, had to get back before dark. By then, it was cooling down, though, so, it's all good.
God awful Hot here today. Really Really gross. The temperature will drop by almost 30 degrees next week though, which mean I will be getting sick.
Still warm in Oregon, but, not hot like the last couple of days. Weekend weather will either be warm or rain. Do I really need a weather man to tell me that?
Ron wrote: "Still warm in Oregon, but, not hot like the last couple of days. Weekend weather will either be warm or rain. Do I really need a weather man to tell me that?"LOL!!!! That was their forecast? That's hilarious.
It's supposed to be in the low 70s/high 60s by midweek here in LA, so I am expecting to get a cold. It was still almost 100F here today. Bums hanging out of too short shorts as far as the eye could see.
I'm going to clarify this little fact: is it or isn't it MAY THIRD?!?! & if it is MAY THIRD....WHY IS THERE SNOW ON THE GROUND THIS MORNING???? & WHY is there a flipping snowfall warning w/ advisories to avoid travel on the highways?!?!
THAT! My friends. Is the weather report from my window this morning. :o
Terri wrote: "THAT! My friends. Is the weather report from my window this morning."I'd be tempted to stay away from your window if that's the case. Snow in May? That's sick!

HOLY CRAP!! Really??!!! Well, I think at this point I would trade our 90-100 temps here in LA for your snow. WE sure need the water.
It is supposed to drop into the 60s (yes, really) this week. These temperature swings are going to make a lot of people sick.
Raining again in Oregon. Was pretty nice Saturday, so, some of us went to the Oregon Spring Football Game. Couldn't do that today. Didn't rain all day, but, seemed like everytime I wanted to go out walking, it was raining. Never did get my walk in.
Yesterday I left my purse at the office. Because it was raining so heavily with thunders and lightning (but mostly because I was too lazy) I decided against going back to fetch it. So this morning, I bought my breakfast and paid the ferry fare using coins. I always put aside my small changes in my piggy bank at home for emergency purposes such as this. To date I have about $80. Anyway I read last month that there will be a drought from May until September in my country, but since last week we've been experiencing heavy rains every evening. I just have to make sure I don't leave anything important at the office anymore.

So this morning,..."We are having a drought here in California too. IT is very bad. It is starting to effect the cost of food. The price everything is going up, since California grows a lot of the nation's crops.
The weather here in Los Agneles today was damn near perfect. Low 70s and breezy. I went for walk just to enjoy it.
