We're having a little preview of summer here in Maryland and I can't wait for spring to come over the weekend!
It has been very windy, but today is beautiful: supposed to be in the 80s. The wildflowers are in bloom and as I live in a very rural area, there are fields of lupine, poppies, johnny-jump-ups and buttercups all over the place.
We were supposed to have a winter storm in southern Ontario. It bypassed us here thank god, but very rainy and damp.

We're losing our grip on our beautiful Spring weather here in Arizona. Gonna be in the 90's starting tomorrow...it's all downhill from there:(
Weird. I think last week I made a comment about the weather at my country. I talk about a device that can control weather. How I wish it can only rain at night. So this weeks, it's been raining almost every night! And only at night.
Thanks God! Sorry for complaining on Goodreads instead to You!
When it rains here I pull on my wellies and slicker and go outside. Of course, I live in LA so rain is a treat for me. I don't know if I would feel the same if I lived in Seattle or London.
I once visited Japan and Osaka rained for one entire day, it was very unusual weather for June which is their rainy season.
Here we have "June Gloom" so it is usually a bit cloudy during that month. But come July and August we are frying in hell so I will take it.
It is starting to become summer in Hawaii, I know you all think it is always gloriously sunny here, but after days on end of heat and humidity it does get wearing.
I really don't like humidity. It sucks the life out of you. You really have to dress in light, loose clothing to be anything but miserable.
It's storming here now- pouring rain, thunder & lightning.Been like this all week! When the temp droppped yesterday all the trees were covered in ice. It was really pretty.
The only drawback on rain is the thunder and lightning, last year in March we had hail descend on us, it was very weird, it dinged my car pretty badly.
I don't care for thunder and lightning, hail, or ice either. I guess every place has weather drawbacks to deal with.
Sometimes the hail can be so big. That's too bad about your car. It's 2:30 am here - the thunder & lightning woke me up!
Yup, I would eventually like to settle in a nice serenely tranquil place weather wise, but I don't know where that would be.
Actually the scariest part of the whole ordeal was waking up to hear the hailstorm. And then seeing the hail in my front yard, it was incredible that even in Hawaii the weather was never like this in all of my years living here. Where are you Laima?
Rain will only be lovely to me when I'm kissing Ryan Gosling or someone as hot as him like that Notebook kiss scene.
Sadly, it only happened in my dreams. T_T
I liked seeing Niagara Falls from the Canadian side, many moons ago. Hope you stay dry and don't let the thunder and lightning bother you.
Thx Robin! I still haven't seen that movie. Ryan is from near here so he's probably used to being in the rain! :)
I remember seeing him in Goosebumps/Are You Afraid of the Dark? when he was a kid. My sons and I used to watch it all the time.
well I remember him from Young Hercules. He was so skinny back then, so skinny I thought his sword must be heavier than his own weight. LOL
That is too funny. Never saw Young Hercules, boy I have led a sheltered life. Love your kitten on your avatar.
Here in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, we have experienced six full months of snow. Everyone is going stir crazy and are desperate for green grass. Many people have been on tropical holidays this year because they just couldn't hack the snow any longer.
Weird weather here in LA today. Low-hanging grey clouds, drizzle, wind, and patches of sunshine. It is supposed to be in the 80F by the weekend.
Fantastic Day here today. hoping the same for tomorrow. have a full clothes line of washing that I hope will be dry when I get home tomorrow
