I love this book. I make no qualms either that I love this author and that I stalk him (though benevolently). I just like that this book is different. It's not about angels or werewolves or vampires. I like his writing style and his sense of humor. I see there being a lot more demons in Michael's future!

I really enjoyed this story. I can't decide if the main character was the protagonist or the antagonist (just like he said I would!). I was also quite disturbed by the incident at the end. There were twists and turns that I wasn't expecting at all. I really liked it!

ok, this book had the kind of ending where I stopped and said, "wait, did I really just read that?" and then re-read the ending just to make sure. It had the kind of ending I love...totally unexpected!

Really. It was just ONE WORD that makes you stop and say, oh, crap. One word that skewed the whole perception of the last couple of pages that you just read. It's certainly an ending that sticks with you!
