Return of the Rebel by Jennifer Faye. My first harlequin. It's pretty good-I love romance, just not anything corny & cheesy-which this is not, so far!
The Book of Old Houses by Sarah Graves. It's number 11 in her home repair series. Sorry I haven't added a link, I'm posting from my phone and I don't have that option.

I also have 2 books by Jayne Ann Krentz.
Undone
Love this series but this book is kinda tough to read. Very graphic but still good. I really like the characters!
I need a new series guys! I am on the last two Kinsey Millhone books. Please give me some suggestions.
Finished #3 in the Will Trent series, Undone
and since, she left it with a cliffhanger (darn her!), I had to start #4, Broken
. So far, so good but that is to be expected from Karin Slaughter!
New to the group! What took me so long to get here?I just finished W is for Wasted in Sue Grafton's Kinsey Millhone series, and I am in withdrawal since the next book is not due until this Fall. Started reading this alphabet series years ago...lost touch...rediscovered my love of reading when I bought a Kindle last year. Now I can't stop! I suggest reading the series in order. I am also working my way through Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum and Patricia Cornwell's Scarpetta series. Not sure what to read next....
Murrill, Hi.You sound like you have tastes near mine. My suggestion would be to go to John Sanford, or to David Baldacci. There are so many wonderful authors--many that just seem to continue to produce so much special entertainment, year after year. Good luck.
Currently I'm reading Dark Places by Gillian Flynn. So far it's been good--the protagonist starts out believing it was her brother who murdered the rest of her family but then starts to have her doubts.
Yes, I like Sanford & Baldacci, too. I've read all three of Gillian Flynn's novels, and she tells very good stories.Just started Stephen King's Mr. Mercedes. Liking it so far.

What do you think of Scarpetta? That's one I want to dive into but have heard so many negative things about it... mainly the newer books.

I've like Patricia Cornwell since the beginning, but I have heard people say that Kay Scarpetta becomes unlikeable in later novels. If you're referring to the book titled "Scarpetta," it has been several years since I read it. I recall that I liked it.
just finishing the 2nd tricia fields book--wrecked. pretty good. always looking for more authors so I can have something to read between books from my favorites. just purchased a tablet so I can download books to read. never thought I would do it but then I figured book or tablet what difference does It make so long as i'm reading.

it's always hard waiting for the next book . fortunately I own them so I can reread them when a new one comes out and get reacquainted with Kinsey. love this series.

hmmmmm. as with all series some are good and some well they are a struggle. I have read all of the books in the series and her other series starting with the "isle of dogs". some of her writing is pretty gruesome and I have to read something else for awhile but I always read her next book. sometimes I thing she's getting tired of kay scarpetta.
sometimes finding a new author or character is very hard to do. I have found that by going to www.stopyourekillingme.com website and just picking a letter and reading about the characters listed that sometimes I find something new to read. it can be time consuming but worth it. goodreads is fun because you can interact with other readers and sometimes they have great suggestions for authors.
About 60% through Broken
and it's great! I don't have a clue who could have done this so it'll be a shock! After that, I'm going to read The Silent Wife
since I've seen so many good things about it here on Goodreads and it's got some slight comparisons to Gone Girl, which I loved.
I'm reading The Memory Childfor my bookclub and Crash & Burnfor fun! I've already read Memory Child once before.
just finished Tricia Fields series main character is Josie Gray. Waiting patiently for the next louise penny novel.
just finished the bone fire by Christine Barber. Pretty good book. had read The Replacement Child by same author and am now going to read Buffalo West Wing by Julie Hyzy.
While I'm waiting for Kathy Reichs' newest book to come out, I have decided to start the Aurora Teagarden mystery series by Charlaine Harris. I have already read the first 2 books and loved them. I thought the " A Bone to Pick" movie on Hallmark was great as well. Has anyone else here read these books??
Okay I just got done reading theseWaiting to Exhale by Terry McMillan This is probley 100% better then the movie was and I loved the movie but the book it tells us more about the girls then the movie did. My fav is still Gloria in the book and in the movie.
