Why doesn't the GR description of Searoad by Ursula K. Le Guin, indicate that it's a book of short stories?

BTW, my own notes tell me that the book is a collection of former magazine articles from magazines like "The New Yorker".

Not a good one, IMO.

My local library catalog describes it better because it's clearer. It says:
