Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 121 comments Why doesn't the GR description of Searoad by Ursula K. Le Guin, indicate that it's a book of short stories?

See the GR review of the book by Beth A. at:
http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Her review says: "It’s a collection of short stories."

BTW, my own notes tell me that the book is a collection of former magazine articles from magazines like "The New Yorker".

Joy H. (joyofglensfalls) | 121 comments Not a good one, IMO.

My local library catalog describes it better because it's clearer. It says:
=============================================
"Portrays the struggles and triumphs of several generations of women who independently control Klatsand, a small resort town on the Oregon coast."
Genre: Pacific Northwest literature; Psychological fiction; Short stories
=============================================
