I watched the original show when I was a teen - loved it! It was ground breaking Sci-fi at the time, but a remake? I have mixed feelings. It will depend very much on who writes the script and who directs it.

I hope it's equivalent to Battlestar... except Battlestar had infinitely worse material.
I was a fan. Before Battlestar I'd have been a cynic about remakes.

If you haven't heard them, Big Finish did a load of audio adventures (mostly prequels for the characters) which were mostly excellent. The always superb Colin Salmon did a great Avon.
