Er to begin with... Maybe try an eye catching cover that'll capture your reader's attention? Stats show that often a good cover draws readers like a moth to a flame.
This is the cover of my first book -> http://www.flipkart.com/the-group-of-...Now, the current one which I am writing is a romantic thriller, so any suggestions? Also how do you choose to pick the novel of a new author?
The cover, for one. It has to be eye catching and unique. Once Ive actually picked up a book, the blurb/synopsis of the book is incredibly important for me. What is on the blurb can determine whether or not I read a book.
Another big factor is when I start reading. The start of the book often determines how much I like a book and sets the mood for the entire story.
