Veronica swallowed hard, closing her eyes, slowly pulling back and smiled, wiping her tears. She breathed hard, then suddenly felt his lips on hers. She closed her eyes for a second then gasped and pulled back, "I'm sorry!" She mumbled, hugging herself. She looked down. "I'm sorry, Ben. I didn't... I.." She trailed off. "I-I have to go." She shook her head, hugging herself, walking away. The rest of the day went by. She didn't learn anything. At all. At lunch, she sat alone, Corey was with his friends, laughing. Acting like nothing was happening!! She walked to her car, and heard her name being called. She looked back and saw Corey then teared up, as he walked to her. "Go away, Corey. I don't want to talk right now." She mumbled and wiped a tear, getting in her car.

Ben wasn't exactly sure what made him kiss her. Maybe it was the fact that she was in distress. Or maybe it was due to the fact that he liked her, even though she was Corey's girlfriend. Whatever the reason, he kissed her. For a minute, then she pulled back. He felt like an idiot just then. She shouldn't be sorry. It was him that should be. He was about to apologize when she walked off, leaving him behind. Just before his next class, he went to go talk to Corey. He gave his friend the lecture of his life, trying to mend things between Corey and Veronica. He stood in the distance after school, watching as Corey went to go talk to Veronica. He stayed silent as Corey walked to his car after Veronica got into hers. The world hates us, he thought. Nothing was going right.
Veronica swallowed hard, starting her car, backing away, driving so fast, there was a screeching noise that trailed off. She sniffled and bit down on her lip, gripping the wheel hard. Why can't she do things right?! Why did she and Ben have to kiss?! She can't do this! Lying to Corey. She sighed softly, getting out of her car, running up to her room. She lay in bed, thinking. A little too hard, because she was getting a head ache. She heard her phone ring and pressed it to her ear, not bothering to see who it was. "Hello?" She croaked. You could tell she'd been crying or sleeping.
"Hi, it's Ben. Please don't hang up. I'm just calling to apologize what what happened earlier today," Ben said. He was at home, in his room. His guitar was laid across his lap as he sat on his bed, absentmindedly playing different notes. Corey had gone home and ignored any phone calls that went to his phone. That included when Ben tried to call him. "It was pretty messed up of me to kiss you when you were upset. And I'm sorry for that. I don't know what came over me."
Veronica closed her eyes, listening to his voice. She swallowed hard, breathing out. "I.." She trailed off and heard the guitar, "You play guitar?" She asked softly, then smiled, "I-I, I liked it... I know! Its really bad. Because Corey's my boyfriend, but I was honestly hoping... YOU'd call." She teared up. "I'm a horrible person, aren't I?" She asked, her voice shaky. She let out a cry, and gasped, holding in another sob. "I-Im like every other girl in Gilmore High! A.. A s-slut. Ben. A slut." She shook her head, "This is not what I wanted when I said yes to Corey." She mumbled and sighed, heavily.
"Yeah, I play guitar." He said. He was surprised when she said that she was hoping that he'd call. He was not expecting that. He could hear the agony in her voice. "You're not a bad person," he told her, trying to soothe her. "If it's anyone, it's me. I mean, I kissed you, knowing that you're Corey's girlfriend. And to make it worse, I like you. Like a lot. And you're not at all like the other girls in the school. You're prettier, for one. And smarter, and an overall better person than anyone I've met."
Veronica sighed softly, listening to him, her tears slowly stopping. "Well, Ben, I like you too. And I think you an amazing guy." She mumbled and closed her eyes, sighing. "Ha! Yeah. Chole Kristen is prettier than me. So is Kylie Delport. And Isabel Gonzales." She mumbled and sighed, "Sorry. I do that a lot. Corey's always telling me how annoying it is when I compare myself to other girls." She mumbled and shook her head, "I'm rambling. Could you come over? I can't do this over the phone, I need to.. Hug you.. Close, Ben. I know its wrong, but your arms just feel r-right." She choked up then waited for his reply. "You can say no if you want."
Ben had to agree with Corey. It was annoying. But he didn't say anything. If her previous comment about her hoping he would call surprised him, then he was even more surprised when she asked if he could come over. The voice in the back of his mind told him no, that it wouldn't be right. But the other part of his mind said yes. That she needed comfort, and who was he to say no? "If you want me to, I will," he said. He had a pretty good idea of where her house was, and no, he wasn't a stalker. Corey had mentioned what her house looked like some time back and Ben still remembered the description.
Veronica swallowed hard and wiped her tears, "It would be nice if you came..." She whispered, sighing. "I just feel like seeing you, I don't know." She mumbled and bit down on her lip lightly. "When will you be here? Cause my mom will be back at around six.." She mumbled, getting up. ((Sorry, its not a good post. I'm busy. :D xxx))
"I can be there in about twenty minutes," he said. Ben lived on the outskirts of town. More like in the country, really. It took him about thirty minutes to get to school or the mall. His parents were at work and wouldn't be back until at least seven or eight o'clock.
Veronica nodded, even though he couldn't see her. "Y-Yeah. See you in 20." She said with a small smile and bit down on her lip hard. She hung up and sighed, running her fingers through her hair. Why is she doing this! This is her boyfriend's best friend!
"All right," Ben said before she hung up. He sighed as he tossed his phone on the bed beside him. It was official. He was an idiot. He put away his guitar and grabbed his car keys. He locked the front door and got into his car. He started it up and drove to her house. The twenty minute drive gave him time to think. He'd said that he'd come, so there was no way that he was backing out. He just hoped that Corey wouldn't find out. The results would not be good. Once he got to her house, he parked the car, sitting inside it for a minute, thinking over his actions. He shook his head and got out of the car. He walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell.
Veronica ran downstairs in shorts and a big sweater, her beautiful raid hair in a french braid. She didn't know why she did the braid. Actually she did. She knew exactly why she did the braid. And wiped her face with wet wipes. Because she likes him. And its wrong! Goodness, its so wrong! She slowly opened the door and smiled a little. "Hey." She breathed out, holding onto the door. She slowly gave him a warm welcoming hug, but it felt more intamate since his head was in her neck and she kept running her hand up and down his arm. She breathed out and slowly pulled away, biting down on her lip, smiling a little more. "Come in." She said softly and opened the door. She was such a cheater!
Ben was looking at the front lawn as he waited for the door to open. He turned his head towards Veronica when she opened the door. He couldn't help but smile when he saw her. "Hi," he said. She pulled him into a hug and he hugged her back. He was slightly uncomfortable with being hugged, but didn't complain. "How are you?" He asked as she stepped back. "And I like your hair," he added as he followed her into the house.
"You do?" Ramona smiled, biting down on her lip. She played with it and looked down then at him. "Uh, thanks." She smiled wide, and giggled the snorted like a pig. It was adorable. She blushed hard and cleared her throat, "S-Sorry." She mumbled, biting down on her lip, going up to her room. Her room had a big bed, the normal. Purple walls, that had glow stickers all over. Four or five pictures of her and Corey then the rest with family. But guess what? No friends. She sighed, sitting on her bed, smiling. "So... I'm sorry I dragged you here. I just, need to talk to you. But I don't know what about." She pouted and sighed.
Ben smiled. "It looks really nice," he said. He couldn't help but laugh at her snort. "It's alright," he told her after she apologized. He followed her up to her room. It was different than what he was expecting, though he wasn't sure what he'd expected. He never would've expected her walls to be purple, that was for sure. He sat down on a chair across from her, not sure where else to sit. "I don't mind," he said. "I wasn't doing anything important anyway." Well, he had homework he needed to finish, but he could do that later.
Ramona fiddled with her fingers, swallowing hard, chewing on her bottom lip. "Should I tell Corey? I feel so guilty. But, I don't know what to ruin things with Corey, so early, when we just kissed.i don't know whether its the way you kissed me, or that we really like each other, you know?" She mumbled and patted the place next to her with a smile. "I won't attack you with kisses, Ben. You can sit on my bed." She mumbled and shrugged. She tilted her head on her hand, looking at Ben with her beautiful blue eyes, really confused.
Yeah, Corey was a big issue. Ben had been thinking about that constantly. If it was up to him, the kiss would stay a secret. Mostly because Corey would overreact big time, and that wouldn't be good for either of them. But it would be worse if Corey found out that they were keeping it a secret. He got up from the chair and sat beside her on the bed. "I know what you mean," he said. "If it was up to me, I'd say keep it a secret. But then if Corey found out we keeping it a secret..." He trailed off, trying to find the words. "Let's just say that it would be bad."
Ramona groaned frustrated. She felt tears go down her cheeks, but didn't expect it. She wiped them quickly and sniffled. "I just... I don't want to hurt Corey. I care about him so-" she was cut off by her phone ringing. She picked it up and saw it was Corey. She accidentally hit the picked up the phone instead of ignore. She breathed hard as Corey called out her nam through the phone. She swallowed hard, tearing up, "Yeah, babe?" She whispered into the phone the saw the disappointment in Ben's eyes. She by down on her lip, "Your outside? Of my house?" She asked swallowing hard. "O-okay. I'm coming down." She whispered and hung up, looking at Ben. "We'll just say you came over to tell me to forgive Corey or something?" She asked getting up and wiping her scared tears.
Ben looked up as her phone rang. Who would be calling her? He soon got his answer. His blood seemed to turn to ice when he heard that Corey was outside. They were in deep trouble now. He had no idea what they going to do. Of course, Ramona always seemed to have the good ideas. He nodded. "That sounds good to me," he said. Or he could just slip through the back door, he added as an afterthought. Though it was probably better if they just went out the front door.
Ramona walked down and opened the door slowly, smiling weakly. "Hey, you." She croaked softly. You could hear she was crying, and her voice was going away. She swallowed hard as Ben stood behind her. "He was just leaving. He... He was just telling me that I should make up with you... Come inside." She whispered and opened the door wider, as Corey stepped in and Ben moved out. She didn't even give him a hug goodbye. Just a sigh and a fake small smile then the door closed on his face. She looked at Corey and hugged him, as he put his arms around her. She swallowed hard and lay her head in his neck, closing her eyes. "Hey, you." She greeted, like how they usually did.
Ben followed after her, head down low, as if he was trying to hide. Normally he wasn't like this, but he really didn't want to see or talk to Corey. He slipped past Corey as his friend walked in. He didn't mind that he didn't get a hug. No use in having Corey overreact again. He gave her a slight smile behind Corey's back and walked to his car. He got in and drove home.Corey was surprised to see Ben at his girlfriend's house, but didn't say anything. He'd had enough of assuming things. It wasn't worth it. He just nodded at Ramona's explanation and walked inside her house. He wrapped his arms around her as she hugged him. "Hey," he said quietly. "How are you?" He could guess how she was doing, and didn't really need an answer. But he was trying to be nice. "I'm sorry for earlier," he apologized. Now probably wasn't the time to apologize, but he felt like he needed to.
Ramona chewed down on her lip, nodding. "I forgive you.... Corey, I'd never..." She stopped herself. Why is she going to lie? "I'd never cheat on you... Never." She whispered and felt like she just lost herself. "I'm not like the other girls." LIAR!! Something shouted at her, in the back of her head. She pulled away from his hug. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was tutoring him, and stuff. I bet it looked really suspicious. So I guess it was my fault too."
"I know you're not," Corey said. "You're not like the other girls." That was one of the things he liked about her. "But it's more my fault than yours. I shouldn't have been suspicious and I should've trusted you." His reaction was not the best way he could've gone about it. The matter definitely could've been handled better.
Ramona nodded, smiling. "Yeah. So, back to Ramona and Corey?" She asked softly, and leaned in close to him then moved away fast, hearing her mother come in. "Ola, mama." She said in her Spanish accent and blushed, biting down on her lip hard, giggling. "Uh, me and Corey were just talking. Can we go up to my room?" She asked her mother, as she got groceries and put them on the kitchen counter. "Sure... But I want to talk to Corey for a second... Corey?" She said and motioned him to come with her into the kitchen. Ramona blushed hard and nodded, walking up to her room.
"Yeah," he said, smiling at her. As he leaned in towards her, he heard her mom come in and straightened up. "Hi Mrs. Garcia," he said politely. He turned to look at her mom as she called for him. Wondering what she wanted to talk about, he followed her into the kitchen.
Maria smiled and chuckled, rolling her eyes. "When you come here, I'm Mom or Maria. You've earned my respect, Corey." She said and patted his arm, "You love, Ramona, right?" She said and he nodded, "So, are you two having sex?" She said and chuckled, "Don't feel weird. I just want to know what's going on. I won't scold you though. I do recommend sex after marriage, but teenagers these days don't listen much. So it's okay if you guys are having sex. But I don't want you to have it here, and if you do, don't be loud. And don't be dating her just for sex, even though I know your not like that."
Whatever Corey thought that Ramona's mom was going to say was completely wrong. Her choice of topic was entirely different than what he thought it would be. His mind was derailed by her conversation and he had to think about his answer. "We're not," he said, feeling awkward. This was not a conversation that one usually had with their girlfriend's mother.
Maria nodded, and smiling. "Okay. And are you planning to have sex?" She asked packing away groceries. "I'm just checking cause she's been so happy these days. But she's been crying a lot, though. You know what's going on...? It's okay. You don't have to tell me though."
"Not at the moment," Corey said. Ramona and him hadn't been very talkative recently, so there really hadn't been a chance to talk. Not that he was keen to talk to Ramona about it. And right now was not a good time for that. There was no way that he was going to explain to her mother about what happened earlier today. As for why she was crying recently, he had no idea.
I'm really sorry. I haven't been able to reply. I've been having writers Block with this RP. Can we try something else? Have you ever done a lesbian RP? :)
