Milana (tutuintopointe) | 779 comments Mod
I guess for girls to like them, but I like guys for their personality not how strong they are, I mean it is nice if they can do that stuff, but it doesn't really matter to me.

message 55: by [deleted user] (new)

Ben, this guy just one day out of the blue he yelled "hannah, i think u r hot!" and then he and his friends came out and said "he thinks u r hot." y did he do this??? and was it a joke or does he actually like me???

Bella idk y some guys wear their pants so low. i think it looks stupid.

Jayda-the only way i can answer that is 2 ask y r girls so confusing.

Milana and Mrs. Archuleta- i think guys show off so much n r so competitive is bcuz of genetics, male animals have 2 compete for female animals. with birds the female pics the one that shows off the best, with most mammals that live in groups the females only mate with the dominant male so whichever one is the stongest. so thats y we do it, its genetics.

Hannah-he might have done it bcuz he is 2 embarrased to come over n say it 2 ur face n felt. . .safer. .sayin it from the comfort of his group. i bet he likes you but i dont know for shure without more info. try askin him if he likes you

message 57: by Jayda (new)

Jayda xD We're not confusing - you guys make us confused, which in turn makes it seem like we're confusing. That sounded confusing when I said it :)

Okay, why do guys flirt like crazy and then get another girlfriend instead of asking their best friend that he's flirting with? :K

message 58: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) A) He actually doesn't know you think he's flirting

B) he thinks he doesn't have a chance with you

C) he's trying to make you jealous

D) you're just a friend and the flirting is just being silly

message 59: by Jayda (new)

Jayda I hope it's number C...
I might be bold the next time he's single and just ask him out. Though just the idea of doing that freaks me out ;.;

OH, I have a good question: Do guys prefer to ask out or to be asked out? And if asked out, than how should girls let you know, especially if you're really good friends and don't want to ruin anything between the two of you?

message 60: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) I don't think guys really want the pressure of having to always ask the girl out.

message 61: by Jayda (new)

Jayda I don't like asking guys, though x.x I mean, if it's like how I am at dances than I'll probably just never dance because I don't like asking the guys to dance. I'm kind of awkward with guys as it is, so why bother trying to make conversation while you're also trying to dance with each other AND hear what they're saying over the loud music? Yeah, no... Luckily "Parker" (my best guy friend, the one I'm talking about) is easy to talk to and get along with... Because otherwise there'd be no chance with him xD We get really competitive, though. It's funny.

message 62: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) The perfect guy to ask is someone you already know, to avoid that awkwardness. But, if a dance is loud, maybe if you want to ask them, ask them to do something less loud, but fun. Like ice skating! :D

message 63: by Jayda (new)

Jayda I'd be holding onto him to entire time if we went skating, no matter what kind xD The last time I went I tripped three times and the last time I fell, got up, fell again and tripped a guy who was going really fast. He went flying and broke my back wheel off xD But ice skating + holding onto him the entire time... that sounds good to me! ^^

I'm just hoping that when I turn sixteen he'll ask me. If he doesn't when I'm that age I'll ask his parents to let me know when he's single. If he's not going to take the initiative then I suppose I will. We already do a bunch of stuff together, anyway, so what would the difference be except maybe holding hands and hugging more?

message 64: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) See? Totally works. And going to scary movies give you an excuse for a hug "cause you're scared." lol

Hugging, and kissing! OMG lolololol

message 65: by Jayda (new)

Jayda Except that he knows that scary movies generally don't scare me xD But I could go to one that really IS scary and jump at a part I didn't expect ^^ Like Star Trek (which is an amazing movie, by the way) there's the one part that I didn't expect and I jumped. This one lady screamed/yelped. It was hilarious.

KISSING! :o I hadn't had my first kiss xD I'm scared that I'll mess up.

message 66: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) Well, it's hard to mess up a peck on the lips. If that's all you're going for, then don't worry.

Anythings else, I have no idea. X)

Lauren is right with her A, B, C, and D i do all of those except C.
n idk if other guys prefer 2 b asked out or ask someone else out. ive had 4 gfs n ive only asked one of them out. but i would prefer 2 b asked out cuz im scared 2 ask ne girl out cuz i would only emarass myself
but if your askin a good friend out try askin if they want 2 hang out then go 2 a movie n grab his hand at a scary part n dont let go

message 71: by Ben (new)

Ben | 505 comments Mod

((fails to supress laughter))

message 73: by Chels (new)

Chels | 18 comments Here's a question. Why do guys act like they like someone, totally lead her on FOR AN ENTIRE SUMMER, then pretend she doesn't exist and start flirting with another girl?

message 74: by Bree, you make me smile (new)

Bree (breej6434) | 835 comments Mod
point that happens to my friend Lola all the time.

message 75: by Katie (new)

Katie | 170 comments And then why do guys flirt with girls over the phone and act like the perfect guy but when your at school with them they act like total jerks then competely puts you down?

message 76: by Chels (new)

Chels | 18 comments Amen!

message 77: by Katie (new)

Katie | 170 comments it's soooooo confusing!

message 78: by Jayda (new)

Jayda I have a question, Ben!

How would you like a girl to ask if you like her? As in, how should a girl ask? Should she pull him to the side and ask, ask over the phone (which I'd rather NOT do), or should she just flat out let you know her feelings? Like kiss you or something? xD Yeah, the last one is very impossible.

message 79: by Chels (last edited Jun 20, 2009 03:45PM) (new)

Chels | 18 comments Since it looks like Ben is never going to answer ;-), we might as well figure out our own answers. I think that kind of thing should only ever be done face to face. Doing it through friends might be okay, depending on how old you are. As in, that's slightly Jr. High, but whatever. Never, ever, EVER do it by texting.

This is a dating topic, for asking questions about the opposite sex, right? Well, what if you're gay? (x
