For a lot of people, this is a hard decision, but I was just curious as to what the majority of people would choose.

BOTH INFERNAL DEVICES AND TMI WERE AMAZING BUT I WOULD CHOOSE TID BECAUSE I FELT MORE OF A CONNECTION WITH THE CHARACTERS AND IT GAVE ME SO MUCH TRAUMA.
I think so too, I loved TID in part because the ending just felt right, I thought that TMI could've ended after the third book as well. I still love both though. But there are some things I prefer from each one. On TID, for example, I'm obssessed with Jem and Will's bond. It just seems so much stronger than Jace and Alec's. and there's something about the Victorian era that I just love. On TMI I feel like I got so invested with the characters that I can't not read the last book!
TMI series are way better than TID, i kinda got disappointed by Clockwork Princess. So i loved TMI so much more.
At first I thought TID had a stronger plot, but it sort of takes a back seat in the last two books. The love triangle was annoying to me. You know when everyone is at the table, and there's one piece of bread left, and everyone is like:"Here, you take it. You're so awesome."
"No, no, I couldn't. I insist you take it."
"But I can't! It's yours, really."
"You're so amazing, I can't take that from you. Take it!"
"No you!"
SOMEONE JUST TAKE THE LAST SLICE OF BREAD, DAMN IT.
That's what I felt like lol. All this tiptoeing around feelings just grated on my nerves after awhile. I know I'm supposed to feel..torn or whatever since everyone loves each other but it just got so annoying to me.
TMI definitely could have ended after book three and Clary was a very annoying heroine to me. But the romance was less frustrating, so that's a plus. I'd say both series have their faults, but Clockwork Angel is probably my favorite book out of all of them.
