Askeli fumed on the second-floor of the fire. She burst into a column of flame, then appeared as a twin burst of flame on the first-floor.

message 57: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jasminethetallirishflower) Sabine turned to find the odd girl who was lying down on the floor earlier on, had come back. The cute one had also returned, but he didn’t seem interested in the situation and was reading a book. Jerk!
Two other girls had come too, but yet again; they didn’t come over to help. Sabine then realized that she really needed to get to know some people around here.
The girl – who she now saw was blessed with dainty yet elegant features on her oval shaped face - asked what was the matter in a thick Scottish accent.
She gestured to Cordelia. “Her head’s hurting, and I don’t know what to do!” She had never been in this situation in her life. She had never gone to life saving or paid any attention to how her mother would measure medicine is she was sick or injured. Did this place have a nurse? Hysteria began to rise in her voice.

message 58: by Jasmine (last edited Apr 12, 2013 09:19AM) (new)

Jasmine (jasminethetallirishflower) ((Oh I’m sorry! I didn’t see that Winchester left!))

The girl said nothing, looked at Codelia and gave a confused expression, walked back to her stack of books, collected them into her bag and left the library. Sabine was baffled. Maybe she didn’t know what to do either.
Cordelia mumbled something. Sabine looked down at her new comrade... to find her completely fine. Her skin returned a bit of colour, her eyes were sharp and focused. It was as if she was completely fine. As if that whole dizzy-spell was just Sabine’s imagination.
Her mouth made a perfect O shape.

message 59: by Jasmine (last edited Apr 12, 2013 11:06AM) (new)

Jasmine (jasminethetallirishflower) “But – but -” Sabine, once again, was baffled. Just a few minutes ago, Codelia looked like she might have passed out then and there. But now...
She shook her head. “It was no problem. Just take it easy for the rest of the day. Maybe eat a bit of chocolate to get your blood levels up.” She gave Cordelia one last pat on the shoulder. “And drink lots of water too.”
Giving her new comrade a little wave, she went back to her seat. She didn’t sit down. Instead, she got her book and left the libary. All the while, she was thinking, Well, at least I made one friend today... A friend I thought was going to faint, but a friend all the same. Then, Good God I’m desperate for a scream.

message 60: by Keeli (last edited Apr 14, 2013 06:26PM) (new)

Keeli (lalalandito) Aztec sat in the corner of the library, sitting in one of the secluded corners with her music playing in her ears. Her ghostly blue eyes flicked up time to time, but nothing was there. At least not to humans, or other supernaturals. It was nothing.. she thought to herself frantically, glancing down at her book for Mythological Studies about Greek monsters and myths.

message 61: by rachel (new)

rachel Beau waltz into the library, hands stuffed in his jeans' pockets. A library probably wasn't the best place to be if you were him, since the entire place was filled with paper. He glanced about, his fiery orange eyes almost glowing in the dim light of the building.

message 62: by Keeli (new)

Keeli (lalalandito) He was right around the corner, the old man that had been coming to her for help. He was Russian, she couldn't even fathom about what he was sobbing over. She was peering through the bookcase to see if he had left. When she went to grab her book and leave he was standing there, the blank stare on his emotionless face. He was hovering about two inches off the ground, blood coating his knees and ankles. She jumped in surprise, knocking a few books off the other side of the bookcase. She held her breath and walked through him, picking up her things and going to pick up the books, avoiding everyone's doubtful stares.

message 63: by rachel (new)

rachel Beau, upon hearing the clatter of fallen books, shifted his optics toward the source of the sound. He blinked, noticing the rather flustered girl picking up fallen books. He strolled over to her before bending down and taking the book that had fallen furthest from her. "You all right?" He asked with a charming smile.

message 64: by Keeli (new)

Keeli (lalalandito) She jumped yet again, all agitation gone. Her unique ghostly blue eyes held nothing but fear, even after she calmed down. "Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to distract you." She said, holding her hand out for the book. She was notably smaller then him. She was about 5"6' and he was over six feet. She felt scrawny, but still held her hand out. He was a bit attractive, but she knew him. Almost every girl in the school did. Without her face changing, she instantly shut out all thoughts of him ever really talking to her outside of school.

message 65: by rachel (new)

rachel "You're fine," Beau briefly glanced over the book in hand's cover. Greek mythology. Interesting. He handed her the book, smirking inwardly at her irritated expression. He then glanced around. She had been looking at something when he walked in, and he hadn't seen what. His interests sparked slightly, and he wondered what kind of... 'Supernatural being' she might be. He straightened himself, making him considerably taller than her. "Um, Aztec, right?" He asked, only barely being able to guess her name.

message 66: by Keeli (new)

Keeli (lalalandito) "Yes." She said plainly, "uh. Beau, right? You're a senior?" She knew his name, and felt partly stupid for pretending she didn't. She took a small step back, feeling intimidated by his height. She glanced back at the corner she sat in seconds ago, but the spirit wasn't there anymore, probably off to go torture another poor cursed soul. "The........... Mermaid?" She said, smiling lightly.

message 67: by rachel (new)

rachel ((Gtg take a shower...))

Beau almost stumbled. "Mermaid?" He gasped, pretending as if he were severely offended. "Uh, no, exactly the opposite, a Phoenix," He grinned. He was a rare species. The only one out of the entire school, and he was proud of it. He lifted his hand to demonstrate. A couple of sparks formed around his finger tips, creating just enough light to illuminate his fiery orange gaze.

message 68: by Keeli (new)

Keeli (lalalandito) (Okay.)

Aztec nodded, "yeah? I thought a Phoenix was a bird?" She asked, glancing him up and down skeptically. "All you do is conjure fire, are you sure that you got the right category down?" She shot right back, a mocking tone. "We'll, it was nice talking to you but I have to finish my projec-" her sentence was cut off. He appeared right on Beaus shoulder, his head dangling by strings, the fibers slowly breaking. She swallowed, watching the old mans mouth pry open, fresh ghost blood being spilt onto the floor. Her eyes snapped back up to his face, seeing how unaware of everything he was.

message 69: by rachel (new)

rachel Beau smiled. "Ah, well, if you'd like to see the extend of my abilities, we'd have to leave the building or it may be turned to ash." He could, in fact, incinerate anything with just a touch. About to make some witty remark, he stopped when he noticed her somewhat terrified gaze looking past his shoulder. Fully aware that nothing stood behind him, he smirked. "Hmph. So you're a Ghost Whisperer."

message 70: by Keeli (new)

Keeli (lalalandito) "The Ghost Whisperer." Aztec stated, being as stubborn as him. "You aren't the only unique one. And actually, as a matter of fact, I would like to see the full extent of your powers, like a fireworks show." She snapped back at him. "Just lead the way."

message 71: by rachel (new)

rachel Beau raised an eyebrow. "How about this," He pulled a book from her arms. He took it by the back cover and let it drop open. With the opposite hand, he took the edge of a page with his fingertips. There were no sparks whatsoever, just the crumbling of the page into ash within seconds. He then flipped it closed and handed it back to her. "There, happy?"

((Sorry if he is a bit snotty. He gets nicer when you get to know him. x3))

message 72: by Keeli (new)

Keeli (lalalandito) (It's okAy! Be right back, gotta take a shower too)

This was war. Aztec smirked looking down at her fathers old book. Her hand flashed out, catching his cheek. Her eyes were glowing, seeming the only light in the dark room. They instantly held his gaze. He couldn't pull away, but he could see everything she did. Every single bloody and tortured spirit that ripped themselves apart in front of them. It was brutal an terrifying, even for a senior. They all stopped their commotion, sensing fresh blood. She blinked, withdrawing her hand. "I'm sorry." She quickly apologized. She was so flustered and angry that she forced him into the spirit world without his concent. Father will be so angry. she thought, her eyes falling to the burned book.

message 73: by rachel (last edited Apr 14, 2013 08:39PM) (new)

rachel Beau's optics suddenly darkened. He didn't flinch, nor scream in terror, just stood in silence for a moment. After being swiftly taken to and from the torturous spiritual world, his mind was quickly washed over with unwanted memories of his childhood. Loosing his mother, gaining an abusive father, then killing him in a rage that destroyed his home. He lived off scraps in the streets until he was old enough to get a job. He swiftly drew a step away from her, taking a moment to clear his thoughts. He retained a calm composure and forced a smile. "No, I should apologize."

message 74: by Keeli (new)

Keeli (lalalandito) "Why." She said, after a pause. "Did memories come back?" She asked, pain in her eyes. The fact that every minute she was reminded of how her mother sacrificed herself to see her already-passed on father. Her neglecting step father and ridiculing brothers. "They'll go away. Just don't-... Don't think about them." Her eyes gazed over the room, seeing invisible things. "They think you're one of them." Her eyes darkened. Damn.. she thought looking at him. "Looks like I'm going to have to stay with you for a while." She grumbled.

message 75: by rachel (last edited Apr 14, 2013 08:55PM) (new)

rachel Beau's smile faded. He glanced around once again, and still saw nothing. He exhaled softly, running a hand through his hair. His voice lowered. "Are they... Dangerous?" He asked, clearly not in the mood to be dealing with these spiritual... beings. He dismissed her earlier question, about his past pains, and quickly tried to forget that it even happened at all.

message 76: by Keeli (last edited Apr 14, 2013 09:01PM) (new)

Keeli (lalalandito) Aztec pulled her shirt collar out, bringing out a glowing white crystal. It had a blue aura surrounding it. "If you go into the spirit world, you become a spirit. Spirits fight, ripping each other apart to try to get the pathfinders attention. That's me. They can touch any spirit, meaning that they will do all in their path to rip you apart to prove themselves ready to go onto the other side." She held up the crystal. "I was dead before I was born, meaning I'm a spirit trapped in the human world. This crystal is a shield against paranormal touch. They cant touch me, or any other spirit that has a crystal like this. If you stick close to me for the next couple of hours, you get to keep your body parts." She cursed, glancing at the crystal.

message 77: by rachel (new)

rachel Beau let out a slightly nervous chuckle. "You've got to be kidding me..." Well, he deserved this for being so stuck up. He quickly set aside the events that had just unfolded before them, and his usual witty smile returned. "Well, if we're stuck together for the next few hours, let's not spend it in the library."

message 78: by Keeli (new)

Keeli (lalalandito) Aztec shrugged, but nodded. "Then where?" She asked, giving him a look like: Try to flirt with me and I'll let them rip you apart. It soon faded, and she smiled lightly. "Not in the forest, too many people like to hang around there."

message 79: by rachel (new)

rachel ((I'd better get to bed since I have to get up early... If I cant sleep I'll post back in a bit. ^^"))

Beau shrugged his shoulders, stuffing his hands in his pockets once more. "We could head out to the lake," before she could have the chance to say anything about him 'flirting' with her, he added, "As aquaintances."

message 80: by Keeli (new)

Keeli (lalalandito) (I probably should too, bye! *^-^/)

Aztec nodded. "As acquaintances." She agreed, walking down the hall, keeping close to him. They got strange looks from the others, but she didn't even touch him. She sucked in a breath, and held her chin higher, not showing a hint of embarrassment. Her eyes glowed for a few seconds as a new spirit entered the realm of the dead. Another dead spirit for her to try to handle, oh yay...

message 81: by rachel (new)

rachel Beau caught a couple of jealous glances, and returned them with a charming smile. Aztec qnd he were not usually seen together, in fact, they were never even seen talking! But Beau nonchalantly walked down the hall toward the entrance beside her.

message 82: by Keeli (new)

Keeli (lalalandito) One of the girls reached out to pinch her, probably one of his ex's. She stepped away, bumping into him. Her head reached the bottom of his shoulder. She felt scrawny, but protected in a way. Aztec had never talked to Beau before. She'd had classes with him, but never like this. She was smarter then some of the other supernaturals, her IQ at about 186 at the moment. She was suppose to move two grades up, but her parents refused, even if she was taking college courses all her senior year. She opened the door, shoving outside and pulling her hood over her snowy white hair.

(Lake topic?)

Sebastian stumbled into the library, sweat and disheveled looking. He made his way around, trying to look calm and collected as he eyed some of the students. He felt his vessel trying to push him out, but he locked himself firmly inside, trying to find an attractive male to hook himself onto.
Around the corner was a kid sitting down in a chair, reading some stupid book Sebastian didn't care about. He had rather dirty blond hair, almost considered brown. Sebastian sighed, before his vessel's mouth opened. A thick cloud of black smoke escaped from him, weaving its way into the new vessel.
Bran, Sebastian's old host collapsed to the ground with a loud thud, and the new vessel blinked his eyes open, now inhabited by Sebastian.
Bran shook violently, as if having a seizure of some sort, and Sebastian made his way toward the boy, before cradling his head on his lap.
"B-bastard." Bran cursed softly, before his eyes closed, his body giving one last shudder. Sebastian sighed, before opening the nearest window and shoving the body out of it, before leaping out himself.

Skyra Rider cursed as she arrived here. So much easier it would've been to fly but the stone was restricting her. Usually, it never interfered but it when it did, it was to be listened to. Skyra's eyes traveled to Sebastian, lying on the ground, seemingly dead. For a foolish moment, she forgot what Sebastian did. Host in bodies. She was so tired that she hadn't even thought he did get a new host. "Look who's out of my hair after all." She entered the library. So the pendent wanted to warn her that she had to take care of a dead body? Thanks. Thanks a lot.
Her dress seeming to rustle, she walked to the dragon section of the library, taking all the books that mentioned the famous rumored Gold dragons into her hands. These were going to get burned.

message 88: by [deleted user] (new)

((Seb already buried the body in the forest. ;) ))

Sebastian huffed, shaking out his legs and arms. He didn't like this vessel very much. The kid hardly struggled to push the demon out, as he had both small wit and not much brawn. Slightly gangly if anything, though the boy was exceeding tall, his hair brushing over his eyes slightly. The kid's eyes were nice, though, Sebastian had to give him that. They were almond shaped, but they didn't possess the same blue-eyes Bran had. No, instead, Colin, his name was, had deep brown eyes, almost verging on an olive green. They were a bit warmer than the deep blue eyes he used to have, more trusting.

The harsh wind blowing through the windows covered Sebastian's huff and presence. She ran into a table, her gown tearing, and cursed a loud in latin.

Skyra, not recognizing Sebastian batted her eyes innocently. "Just going to write a quick note to the librarian that I'm checking these," she lifted the small books in her arms, "out for a long while. I'm quite the reader." Skyra smiled brilliantly, making a good impression on a stranger was one of her many skills.

message 92: by [deleted user] (new)

Sebastian laughed for a moment. "Oh, I totally forgot. Um, 'tis me, your dutiful Sebastian. Poor old meatbag got the case of the nasty. Probably an STD." He whispered the last sentence jokingly, before glancing at his body. "I don't like this thing as much as I did Ol' Bran, but it was last minute, soooo...."

Skyra held back a curse last minute. "Well, if it's you." Her warming aura disappeared quickly as it had come. Books in her hands, she started walking toward the desk to write a little note. The moon shone it's pale moonlight, catching a gleam of her hidden pendent in the camouflaged gold dress pocket. It was a calming but somewhat eerie blue.

((What color is his hair, just asking? Wait, it is that guy I showed you in the previous post: (view spoiler)

"Curiosity killed the cat Sebastian," Skyra replied, almost muttering as she bent over the desk to write her note. It was a risk, turning her back to him, but her reflexes, even in a dress, was fast.

message 98: by [deleted user] (new)

He shrugged. "Curiosity killed the cat, but where human beings are concerned, the only thing a healthy curiosity can kill is ignorance." He smiled lightly, leaning against the desk beside her.

Skyra blatantly rolled her eyes as she finished scribbling her note. She had set the books aside of her, one of them having a silver dragon on the leather spine. Skyra's handwriting was neat, her "l"s and "S" scripted in flourishes.

message 100: by [deleted user] (new)

As Sebastian eyed the note, he decided that Skyra's handwriting was far too pretty. "Good information is never written nicely." He frowned, brown eyes far more intent than his blue eyes had ever been. "What's it say, anyway?" He asked, but more so to himself than the girl as he turned the note towards himself.
