agreed Dee. I am not sure if I will continue on.

Glad you enjoyed it! What did you think of his family?

I thought she wrote small broken down small north/midwest town life well. Did you catch the cross over with After Hours? Same region.

Yes! I agree. I liked how Annie's reaction was realistic.

I thought so too!

ooh, that's great to hear Regina. i really enjoy this series. glad to hear it gets even better.

I could start tomorrow if you want. This will be my first read by her, and I'm excited to give her a go!

I can join you for the Halle book!

I'm hoping to get at least one chapter in of

You gotta love a book that starts off with a bang!

The Search
Heroine has isolated herself
Hero is tetchy artisan
Hero is super wealthy
psychopath
Two friends who get together
The Collector
Heroine has isolated herself

psychopath
Two friends who get together
I guess the big difference is The Collector has plot flaws. It's OK but I can't see it being more than a 3 Star book and if that massive sign post she just tried to hide behind a stick with a leaf on it turns out to be true I might just go lower to punish her for treating me like an idiot.

That looks good, Ian. How old is the heroine in that one?

35. It is very good at the moment.

35. Nice. Way out of NA range!
Thanks, Ian!

I love the setting, too. I wonder if this is a real program, or if this is something the author came up with on her own. The story has a slow build to it, too, which is what I like.
ETA: I'm not big on the girl who acts like something crawled up her *(*(#$ and died, though. LOL
I'm going to have to read the Sins & Needles trilogy pretty soon!

This is possibly my best read so far of 2014. I'm glad you suggested it, Regina. She is another author I have been 'meaning to try,' but just haven't got around to until now!
I swear I get the best recs from this group!
