The narrator of this book was pretty uptight and annoyed me at times. Overall, though the story line was pretty good and I would definitely at some point read the next one. The dynamics of this prayer group is what keeps the book interesting.

I loved, loved, loved this book. I read it in 3 sittings. It was amazing. I think I liked it so much because I could see so much of myself in Jodi. I can't wait to read more of this series.

So yes, i completely agree, however she eventually comes out of her old skin and grows quite well spiritually :)

it totally gets better ;)

I saw at the library she has a new series out Souled Out Sisters. I might be picking that one up next year.
I am not usually a reader but I came across this series and I have read all 7 books from Yada yada Prayer Group in 2 months. I even have 2 friends reading them now. I really enjoyed learning about the characters in the book. As well as learning new ways to pray and new ways to strengthen your walk with God. I have purchased Neta's other series House of Hope and I am going to read all 4 of those books. And I got her Souled Out Sisters books for Christmas. So I am set with plenty to read. My mother-in-law is hooked too. She said the other day, "what are we going to do when we run out of Neta's books". I said read the books her husband, Dave Jackson wrote, about the Men's prayer group. Dave and Neta even wrote a few books together. I am really enjoying Neta can't wait to read some of Dave's stuff too. I hope you enjoy these books as much as I have. Happy reading.
I loved this series and was hooked after book one. Love how the prayer group came together. Too often people think groups need to be made up of the same characters, but God has oh such different ideas. This series not only encouraged me in my faith, but also called me to step outside my comfort zone.
I'm so glad I happened upon your comment! I'll be grabbing this book to read next!Sara wrote: "I loved, loved, loved this book. I read it in 3 sittings. It was amazing. I think I liked it so much because I could see so much of myself in Jodi. I can't wait to read more of this series."
